I bought this Vila dress which arrived today, it's gorgeous. Very simple but 'my' colour and perfect for summer in a silky fabric with some sandals next on list Lots of nice Vila stuff on Asos, might give their stuff a try more often.

Show me some tasty links of stuff you've bought recently and love please?

Some lovely purchases.

I've just ordered this dress and can't wait for it to get here. It'd go vair nicely with that handbag...

dun1urkin · 07/05/2015 22:15

Ooh it would look nice with that dress. But I won't be buying anything I don't need for a while until I'm over the shock of spending so much money!!

Coastingit · 07/05/2015 22:32

Meh, it's money that if spent as part of a car you wouldn't blink at. Well worth it to have such a lustworthy bag to carry!

That Uniqlo dress is lovely, perfect for summer and cotton too. Tempted to try the navy.

Mango girlfriend jeans. They're amazing dressed up or down.

A refreshing change from skinnies and only £34

dun1urkin · 07/05/2015 23:14

coast that's the attitude! Grin

KanyesVest · 07/05/2015 23:14

I was very torn on what colour to get in the dress... if it's nice enough when it arrives, I might be tempted by the blue and navy .

Dh is in the US this week and just rang to say he's heading out shopping with my list hurrah!

dun1urkin · 07/05/2015 23:19

What's on the list? Exciting things that can't be bought over here, or exciting things that are cheaper over there??

KanyesVest · 07/05/2015 23:19

Dun1urkin, have you worked out your cost per wear? It's the only sensible way of pricing a long term investment. And don't forget to off set all the future bags you now don't need to buy because you have the one. I'm really good at shopenomics. I managed to pay minus £47 for a piece of jewellery once

KanyesVest · 07/05/2015 23:24

Nothing that exciting tbh, banana republic mainly. Knowing my luck everything on the list will be sold out and he'll be too scared to improvise.

dun1urkin · 07/05/2015 23:29

No, but am crazily hoping it'll be a 510 year bag. It's for work so will get daily use. I've spent a few hundreds on bags before, but never this much, so even though I planned to buy it, and had the money for it, it was still a bit Shock to do it. All the way home my mate was worried I'd start regretting it we'd had a vair naice lunch and were slightly pissed when I bought it
I bought myself a similarly priced piece of jewellery a couple of years ago, which is a 'lifetime' piece (pearl necklace fnar fnar) and I def don't regret that at all.

dun1urkin · 07/05/2015 23:30

I was actually in BR today! I might have seen some of your list!!
My DH wouldn't dare go off piste Wink

Love that dress Kanye.

KanyesVest · 07/05/2015 23:49

If it was fairly boring t shirts, then yes, you probably were. I'm not in the UK, so any BR shopping is online or when he's at HQ for meetings .

Lovely printed dress, Clara. I wish that shape suited me, I've seen loads of great dresses in that style.

looki · 07/05/2015 23:56

Oh great thread OP!!!
I have returned everything I have bought in the past few weeks so looking at this thread with interest.

SycamoreMum · 07/05/2015 23:57

A looovely pair of white skinny jeans by Helmut Lang. They hug the booty perfectly! Got a little discount on them so made them even more special Smile

LeoandBoosmum · 08/05/2015 01:21

AWimbaWay: Love the boots! What colour did you get? And do they run large or small. I'm a half size and never know whether to size up or down when only full sizes are available.

helloelo · 08/05/2015 06:50

Boring but I've just bought the wideleg jeans from Boden and they're so comfy I love it. Especially because they have a normal waist (as in not low rise which doesn't do anything to my postpartum tummy)

Stuff you've bought recently and love?
Hippychickster · 08/05/2015 07:33

I love the Vila dresses! In fact. I might order both!

My best buys recently have been some Swedish Hasbeen shoes as recommended on here. They took a while to break in, but I could wear them forever now, and this dress from Next which looks lovely on. At my age I need something that doesn't show that bit between your boobs and your arms and this is perfect for my holiday.

Love the second Zara dress Clara, is it short and what's the sizing like? Zara sizing is always a bit of a gamble!
Ordered this yesterday, should be in today, not sure how it will look on me but in theory it looks nice!

These came this morning for a black tie do next week

I like them both and the colour is definitely me but I dunno. I'm not gonna get loads of wear out of the dress because of the cut-out back IYSWIM.

TheWordFactory · 08/05/2015 12:21

myvegas I love that jump suit.

Sadly I would look like a giant parsnip in legs that shape Grin.

SevTSnape · 08/05/2015 13:33

Bought a messenger bag that looks like a TARDIS - wonderful

Also, bought a zip up hoody that looks like a TARDIS - Really comfy.

Did I mention I'm a Dr. Who nerd?

littlewoollypervert · 08/05/2015 13:48

Does stuff you're going to buy count?
Similar bag to this reduced to 70E - but I bought a dress yesterday for 33E in M&S that I don't like on me (surprise surprise!) so I'd really only be paying 37E for it. (KanyesVest I like your style, you will have to outline how you managed to pay minus money for something, as that 's what I aspire to!)
