I bought this Vila dress which arrived today, it's gorgeous. Very simple but 'my' colour and perfect for summer in a silky fabric with some sandals next on list Lots of nice Vila stuff on Asos, might give their stuff a try more often.

My dress arrived and is gorgeous! More of a stone colour than grey. Think I need to go buy a new navy blazer to go over it.

Sorry Woolly, I didn't read your post before I posted. Yes, I am magic with money bank manager says no. I can't remember the exact calculations, but there was the initial saving, some haggling and some other baubles I didn't buy because I bought the first one . That most spectacular purchase was pre-dh, so he loves telling people about how thrifty I used to be

Hey Vegas, yes it is fairly short. I'm 5"7. It's strictly summer hols night time only! Really like the jumpsuit.

And sizing is big, for once. Lovely sleeves. Kanye how is the sizing re boobage on yours x

The top is definitely fitted! I'm a 30/32f (as per intervention ) generally a 10, and it closes fine but I can't breathe too deeply! It's more noticeably snug around my lower ribs, but then I do have big ribs for my frame.

I ordered the small in the dress.

J Brand jeans (from TK Maxx £59). They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever put on!

A Diane Von Furstenburg dress - £100 TK Maxx. Would not normally spend that much but it is my hen do soon so I thought I'd treat myself. It is quite a classic style so hoping I can get lots of wear out of it - will probably end up wearing it to work eventually.

Two Cloth and Stone shirts which I will wear with jeans / shorts over the summer. Again TK Maxx £35 each.

I am trying to focus on buying good quality, classic pieces that I will wear lots and will last ages.

I just bought the grey leather mint velvet jacket. Can't wait for delivery day

pony I wore my new grey leather jacket (with suede inserts) last night for the first time, really loved it, felt great in it.

LeoandBoosmum, I got the black, I'm normally a small 4 or 37, I got a 4 and I've added an insole as they did feel a tiny bit big, so I'd say size down.

these joggers in khaki, black and just ordered in a blue print... so comfy and the plain ones are slimming.

Mumstudent I'm 5ft 2 and it sits just at the top of my knee. It's quite full though, so my thunder knees are nicely disguised!

mooth lucky you. Mine arrived today and it didn't suit me at all I looked like someone going to a Michael Jackson convention. Mine was a size 14 though so maybe to much detail for a big bird.

SJR38: Nice blouse but £85 for 100% polyester seems so unreasonable, even if the cut and pattern is very pretty.
