Best stretchy skinny jeans

Does anyone have tips for the best high street stretchy skinny jeans that don't go all baggy? Can't really spend more than £40 and there are so many in that price range I don't know which brand to go for. Thanks!

I want to know the answer to this too. I haven't found skinny jeans that don't stretch.

HoggleHoggle · 27/04/2015 12:29

It really bugs me! I've also unintentionally lost weight (manic toddler who doesn't stop) so at the moment I can't walk more than a few steps without needing to pull my jeans up.

M and S 5 pocket jeggings. The only mid rise stretchy jeans you'll ever need!

Love love love them. Fully stretchy from top to bottom, thick fabric that holds you in.

AnyFucker · 27/04/2015 12:43

I found a perfect pair but they are a very casual style.

Light faded blue, mega stretchy, more like a relaxed skinny with turn ups

H+M LOGG range.

AnyFucker · 27/04/2015 12:45

I think these are the ones here

soooo comfy and no arse slippage

MoltenBrownChocolate · 27/04/2015 12:48

I second Ballroom's recommendation of M&S 5 pocket jeggings. They're not really jeggings, definitely skinny jeans. Lovely thick stretchy denim. Apart from the black ones which are much thinner for some reason Confused

MumSnotBU · 27/04/2015 12:50

Yes, m and s jeggings are amazing. And cheap.

AnyFucker · 27/04/2015 12:57

actually these may be the H+M ones I mean

the website is a bit confusing

TheImprobableGirl · 27/04/2015 13:01

I love the river island amelie skinnies.4 way stretch/reform jeans. They are bang on 40 but haven't gone baggy or anything and i wear them almost constantly for 2 months so far

HoggleHoggle · 27/04/2015 13:02

Brilliant, thank you!

Today's jeans so baggy and far down my arse have had to take them off. Luckily no company planned...

Topshop Leigh jeans... I've had two pairs for years now and they go a little baggy after a few wears but I then put them in the washing machine and they're back to original size... I would definitely recommend.

gingerbreadmam · 27/04/2015 13:23

river island molly jeans or dorothy perkins bailey jeans are both good.

i have also heard new look supersoft skinnys are good and primark do some too which are decent and about £12.

VolumniaDedlock · 27/04/2015 13:27

I've just bought 3 pairs of the Primark super high waisted skinnies
I'm tall, so they're not all Simon Cowell on me, but neatly contain my muffin top, and stay stretchy. they're a lot like the M&S ones, but cheaper, and more flattering on.

before that I spent £80 on some from jaegar, which go saggy by lunchtime.

Cocodale · 27/04/2015 13:28

My favourites are from Sainsbury's so very cheap and don't go baggy.

herethereandeverywhere · 27/04/2015 13:32

Topshop Leigh. Slightly lighter weight than regular denim so great for spring too.

TarkaTheOtter · 27/04/2015 13:35

I have some H&M ones called stretch and shape (or something similar) which I would recommend. V stretchy but still proper jeans not jeggings. Relatively high waisted and haven't gone baggy with washing.

MoonHare · 27/04/2015 13:37

Came on to say m and s denim jeggings £22 but see lots of others have discovered these fab skinny jeans too. They NEVER go baggy. The only thing I buy from m and s anymore...

HelenF350 · 27/04/2015 13:56

Sainsburys are brilliant and really reasonably priced.

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 27/04/2015 14:07

Asda £12/14 depending on colour, I was surprised too, but they are the most comfortable ones I've owned and haven't had any sagging

goodasitgets · 27/04/2015 14:42

Another vote for M&S 5 pocket jeggings
I have lost weight and mine are too big so off to buy a new pair tomorrow

QueenofallIsee · 27/04/2015 14:50

New Look Jeggings at about £20 - fricking awesome

Lynne2015 · 27/04/2015 15:40

M & S jeggings another vote for me

HoggleHoggle · 27/04/2015 17:21

Thanks again all! There's a Sainsbury's up the road so will pop in there, otherwise it looks as though the M&S jeggings get the most votes!

New look super skinny are good.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/04/2015 19:38

I've gone off my black M&S ones tbh. They have started going baggy and have faded horribly. My light wash ones, on the other hand, are still brilliant.
