Best stretchy skinny jeans

HoggleHoggle · 27/04/2015 12:08

Does anyone have tips for the best high street stretchy skinny jeans that don't go all baggy? Can't really spend more than £40 and there are so many in that price range I don't know which brand to go for. Thanks!

Agree with New Look super skinny.

mewkins · 27/04/2015 20:05

My black m&s ones lasted 4 years before giving up the ghost so didn't do too badly.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/04/2015 20:14

I think the quality has gone down - my previous pairs have lasted longer.

Sparklepup · 27/04/2015 20:23

New look super skinny are the best ever and around £20 I think. Got loads in different colours

Fierceflora · 27/04/2015 20:26

Top shop Joni. High waisted and super skinny, poss more of a jegging if we are going to get technical as no front pockets but they are amazing! Super stretchy, super tight, I have 4 pairs Smile

Hezbean · 28/04/2015 21:39

I absolutely love Oasis "jade" stretch skinnies. I have had loads of pairs of these! £40, so comfy and flattering.

Justusemyname · 28/04/2015 21:40

Use a belt?Confused

UnderEstherMate · 28/04/2015 21:42

Topshop Joni are winners for me.

HoggleHoggle · 29/04/2015 06:42

I've bought some of the Sainsbury's jeggings, such good value and really like the fit. Have also ordered the M&S ones so will see which I prefer. Thanks for suggestions.

I love h and m treggings. £12.99 and don't go baggy.

Lambzig · 29/04/2015 14:10

I always recommend Uniqlo on these threads. They are such brilliant quality and never stretch. I have five year old pairs that still look great.

woo1980 · 29/04/2015 18:04

After c section permanent roll! Primark high waisted stretch skinny jeans. Cover all and don't highlight lumps and bumps in dark indigo colour. I think £12

OnlyLovers · 29/04/2015 18:26

Yes, Uniqlo are good but they seem to be offering their skinnies in fewer and fewer colours. Sad

I like the sound of the Primark super high waisted skinnies. Will check those out.

Mydearchild · 29/04/2015 18:29

I've tried topshop Jamie's and primarks but still no good. They always wrinkle on my legs and look crap!

Walkingonsunshine00 · 29/04/2015 18:39

Next
primark

Sorehead · 29/04/2015 19:38

I'm disappointed with M&S- after seeing them recommended on here a while ago I went to buy a pair. Tried on a pair in my size but in a colour I didn't like because they were out of stock in the colours I wanted. Checked in two other stores and online and they've been out of stock for ages.

Such a shame because I really liked the fit of the pair I tried on

Hepworth7 · 29/04/2015 21:40

Agree with the comments on the M&S jeggings, they are more like skinny jeans and a great buy at £22. I also wear Primark high waist skinnies and they don't bag at the knees either.

noddyholder · 29/04/2015 21:42

I love primark push up push in skinnies

WhoNickedMyName · 29/04/2015 21:45

Dorothy Perkins Eden jeans/jeggings are the most perfect fitting skinny jeans I've ever had.

chdmum20 · 30/04/2015 08:11

matalan jeggings £12

Elliptic5 · 30/04/2015 08:15

I have bought the M&S ones and the knee went through into a hole really quickly - wouldn't buy them again.

SpecificOcean · 30/04/2015 08:55

Another vote for New Look super skinny.

Babyrooty · 30/04/2015 13:43

Love the M&S ones too. I have navy and black (yes, why are the black ones thinner?). They retain their shape and fit really well.

Today I'm wearing a pair of MiH skinny jeans that I was persuaded into buying at a cost of £200 and I am forever hauling them up. I need to wash them after every wear so they will stay up. I told the lady in the shop how much I rated the M&S ones too! A tenth of the price!

flux500 · 30/04/2015 13:54

Dr Denim are excellent. Can get them from house of fraser and asos I think. They are about £45 but no bagginess at all, very very good but very tight too :)

HoggleHoggle · 01/05/2015 07:25

Just to update - wore the Sainsbury's jeggings all day yesterday and they are brilliant.

M&S order arrived and will also keep the five pocket jeggings, and great that they come in petite sizes as I'm short.

Also ordered M&S Limited Edition super stretch skinniest which were also really nice. But basically the same as the jeggings although double the price.

Thanks for all your suggestions! Am chuffed with my new jeans.
