I've just put on a full component of war paint and thought, "Wow. I sure am wearing a lot of stuff on my face." Maybe I'm weird, but I thought it could be fun to list - in ascending order from skin up - what I've put on since my morning shower.

I've been volunteering at the food bank today so no make up. Don't use a product to cleanse in the morning, just water. The Neals yard stuff is gentle enough to use round eyes and works brilliantly, my skin looks very good at the moment.

Wow can't believe how many products people use on a daily basis...
It's just water and some camellia oil for me in the morning.
A bit of bronzer and mascara, good to go..

then when at work, depending on my mood and what I see in the mirror :

-little bit of eyeshadow ( Bobbi Brown at the mo )

sometimes, when my skin feels dry, pure Argan oil all over. I even use it to clean my face sometimes, instead of water....

I rinse my face with water and put sunscreen on it (which I assume also acts as a moisturiser). Sometimes (rarely) I wear make-up, but never foundation or powder - just eyes and lips and a little blusher.

Today Ultrasun Factor 30 tinted, plus Korres watermelon lip balm. I am working from home though and it's 25 degrees here in London...

Tomorrow back to a few more products I imagine. But as soon as it hits 20 degrees or so I hate wearing much more than BB balm or tinted moisturiser on my skin.
Tomorrow probably Chanel Vitalumiere, Benefit roller girl mascara, and Becca tint lipstick. Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in the evening...

Cleaned face in the morning with Olay regenerist cleanser/scrub thingy and water, then put on some bravura hyaluronic serum and bravura moisturiser.

Make up today was Skin79 BB cream mixed with some bronzing gel, collection2000 concealer on spots/mark plus a bit of maybelline age rewind concelaer under eyes. Pat of rimmel translucent powder.

Swoosh of body shop shimmer brick type peach blusher.

Aubergine revlon eyeliner (brings out the greeny side f my eyes).

Tiny bit of mascara.

Rimmel chubby stick on lips in a pinky colour.

I'm 42 and my face looks dull and flat without make up!

I bought the Mac finishing powder in town today, so I tried that out.

Sounds like a lot and compared to a year ago, it is a lot. Some days I go out barefaced it will inevitably be asked if I'm tired!
