Have had a lovely day, cousins here for yummy food and easter eggs. Then took the dc to the park for a few hours. The eldest was reluctant, but then couldn't get him to come home.

Yay, new thread. My iPad died yesterday as I upgraded the iOS. Weirdly being left charged overnight has resuscitated it. I'm v happy .

What a gorgeous day! Have just been on the trampoline with DD for the first time in ages. DH has gone into full on 'sort the garden out mode'

Who are all these men that voluntarily get in the garden?! I'm forcing DP to do the 2 lawns (first cut of the year so I claim it's too hard for me) and it will still be the last thing he does today. I on the other hand just hoovered the entire house, then sat outside with a bit of cake :)

Blair dh is too eager in the garden, and is over zealous with the lopping. Now relugated to lawn mowing.

Had a lovely day. Swimming then the park for games. The dc are suitably zonked.

Nice day here. Sunshine makes such a difference. DD was so good while I studied and DH did the garden - she alternated between 'helping' him and her current favourite activities - cutting and gluing . Looks like there are about 10,000 tiny bits of paper on the floor but I was grateful for the space.

Glass of wine now and early to bed...going to try the approach of getting up early ie 5.30am to study...
