They are back online for anyone who missed them first time around. Recommended.

I adore them, and they are quite flarey enough for me.

I've worn them to death, with a pair of suede M&S ankle boots that are also gorgeous.

I think M&S are having a moment this year about bloody time.

I tried them on today and thought they were nice, sadly even the regular were way too long for me though. Liked the amount of flare - makes a change from the other "flares" I've tried on which are just bootcut really.

Ho yes. They are flarey alright. Grin

They need to be flared to not look bootcut I think they look great and balance everything out

I love a flare and have many a pair in the wardrobe. But. But. But. Them M&S ones do nothing for that models arse. And if they don't look good on a model...

Noddy, they are Extreme Flares. SuperSized Flares. Mahoosive big flappy triangular-leg-below-the-knee Flares

No danger of confusing them with bootcuts.

Cointreau - you have brightened my morning Smile

I will do some slim bootcuts in the summer with wedge sandals but at 5ft think proper flares will just not work.

Goes back to obsessing over Stella denim skirt.

I've just taken delivery of mine. If they are that flappy though I might give them a miss

Well. I have just tried on my size and the size down. Both fit. The size down only just.

So my question is. Do they stretch?

Ps. I am only 5ft 2 and don't find them too long or too flappy. Just right. I am amazed as all the ASOS ones I tried were about a foot too long. I was ready to give up.

Can anyone who has worn them advise on the stretchiness?

TIA

Mine arrived, and love them, the fit on the leg is great and the flare is genuine flare not boot cut and they're just the right length to wear with low heels - thank you love2dance for the heads up.

Got mine today too. I'd thought they'd look suit me as I'm reasonably tall and still manage to be part of arse. Ha ha ha ha they gave me large thighs I never knew I had and made me look dumpy. They gave my teens a good laugh. Going straight back.

That's be pert of arse although I've probably been part of an arse too.

Teens don't get this flare-love.

They are such fashion dinosaurs.

I wore mine today. Loved them. Forced me to wear heels as they do need the extra height. Felt fab in them all day.

After years of skinnies I think I may love the flare again.

Thx for the tip off.

Picked mine up today (finally) and I LOVE them!

Do they looked nicer/more flattering on than on the model on the website?

I've bought things in M&S sometimes which look great on me begone modesty but not great on the models on the website. I'm 5'2' and a size 12 so not exactly a supermodel either.

I'm 5'3 and I would class myself as a size 11 annoyingly. I bought size 10s in a fit of optimism and they fit perfectly for a high waist.

They are long on me. And actually I think they look better on slightly curvier folk. I Can't remember the model on the website to compare to im afraid.

I collected a pair yesterday but promptly returned them in favour of the Next "Couture" flares (the £28 ones) which I had tried on the other week and liked but not bought at the time. The M&S ones looked OK on me but the Next ones looked better so I would urge anyone who's missed out on the M&S ones to try the Next ones.

Still loving mine, although I am really Confused as to everyone's comments that they are really flarey! I am 5'9 and bought an 8 in them and they don't seem at all humungous or triangular around the bottom. (This is from someone who remembers them as a child first time around and has the photographic evidence). Anjelika, I tried the Next ones and they didn't look good on me, although others have recommended them too.

I am liking the idea of the 70s coming back into fashion. Gives me a chance to do it better this time...Grin

I finally found a flattering pair in zara but they require heels which limits their appeal to the odd night out.

The 2 pairs I've bought recently (Next & River Island) both require heels but I pulled an old Next pair out of the cupboard today which I had thankfully kept hold of. They are too short to be worn with heels and in the past I have only ever worn them in summer with flip flops but I am wearing them today with (smart) trainers for work (dress down Friday). It's definitely good to have some flares to wear with flats!

I don't think they are massively massively flared- but then I never embraced the skinny jean look so they are not such a divergence from the wide leg look I like. BUT they are sooooo long. I do have short arse legs but even so I have had to take them up a bit to wear with my blockest heels for general wear! Oh and I think they will stretch, anyone found this yet?

Absolutely love mine, I'm 5"8 and they are really long, I wear them with some purple suede wedge boots and they are perfect.....soooo pleased with them. And they're really flattering too, I'm a 16-18 and they make me feel fabulous x
