Anyone have a Babyliss Big Hair?

Are these a gimmick or should I get one?
I have shoulder length hair if that makes a difference.

Love mine too. Just bought my third in about 4 years. But I do give it some welly and use it everyday.

My tip is to do your hair a section at a time to max the volume.

Yes, it straightens hair, gives it bounce and smooths it. You've got to blast it with the hairdryer first and only ever use it on hair that's almost dry. Stick some heat spray and mousse (a MN tip) on, dry it with the hairdryer and use the BBH on sections.

I've had long hair, mid length, short and it did nothing. I will have a couple more goes this week to see if I can be converted if not it's going on Ebay!

What size would I get? My hair past my shoulders blades fine but loads of it and curly but straightened every day!

Hmm I hated mine and just gave it to charity. I have very straight, fine but plentiful hair which tangles very easily. I found that it either tangled my hair and pulled it out or my hair sort of slid over the top of it and it had no effect. Would nor recommend if you have hair like mine.

Mine died (hot air only came out of the tip) and i didnt have the receipt, i rang conair and to send it back and i had a new one within 3 days - very impressed. They could tell it was in warranty by the serial number on the handle. Mine lasted less than a year with sporadic use,bit shit really.

Now i have shorter hair its amazing. I had bought the smaller one as i had med length hair at the time. So easy to use and gives me a polished look.

Still not a patch on my red revlon hair thing i bought 16 yrs ago and finally gave up the ghost last year!

I have one, but prefer my Babyliss Perfect Curl as it is 100% impervious to fuckups. Even an orang-utang could use it to make themselves look good. Not cheap, though - but cheaper than getting boo dries as often as I'd otherwise need to.

I bought one yesterday! I have fine flat hair and whilst I couldn't get it to go 'big' with my first attempt (more product needed I think) it did make it really nice and soft and shiny... I'm pleased with it!

mrssteve was the revlon thing red and black and like the bbh but didn't rotate?

Love mine too, so much easier than hair dryer and brush.

I wouldn't have longer hair if I didn't have my bbh, simple as that I couldn't do without it
