Please help ladies, need your suggestions for best high St mascara. Need a new one tomorrow but January is a tight month before payday so if I could not spend £20++ then that would be really helpful.

I have tried maybeline in the pink tube - hate it and boots natural collection -ditto.

Any loreal, max factor etc mascara fans out there? Please help me, I would really appreciate it.

Another vote for max factor masterpiece, I keep trying others but always go back.

i really love GOSH the secret of longer lashes at the moment, my lashes had become really sparse after pregnancy and this makes them look really long, its super cheap too.

Poofus · 16/01/2015 16:40

Are any of these truly waterproof? I need something that can withstand cycling in the rain!

aliasjoey · 16/01/2015 17:10

Boots No. 7 in the gold tube - it's the only one I've found which doesn't smudge

Greywackejones · 16/01/2015 17:11

Benefit can't believe they are real

Best ever mascara

Greywackejones · 16/01/2015 17:11

Benefit is

pippop1 · 16/01/2015 18:03

Benefit's They're Real is fab. The brush is particularly good and easy to use.

Luckystar82 · 16/01/2015 18:07

Max factor

At the moment I am loving these:

Max Factor Eye Brightening Mascara for Blue/ Green or Brown eyes:
www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-Eye-Brightening-Mascara-for-Green-eyes_1265797/

They really make my eyes shine! I have greeny /brown eyes. It has something in it that reflects light. It goes on easy, no clumps.

Luckystar82 · 16/01/2015 18:10

I use Vaseline to remove eye make up. Rub all over eye. take off with slightly damp cotton wool pad. Gets everything off without rubbing. Have always done this. My mum has done this since a teenager, she is in her 60s and literally has no lines on her eyes! She looks amazing. Might be genetic though.

Does anyone else use Vaseline to remove eye make up? Everyone I know thinks I am mad, but it is the only thing which does not irritate my eyes. For the rest of my face I use Liz Earle.

westcoastnortherner · 16/01/2015 18:15

Dior show mascara is fab, my friend who is a makeup artist recommended it!

britnay · 16/01/2015 18:29

Max Factor Masterpiece

TiedUpWithString · 16/01/2015 19:47

I'm with blueeyes and vote for l'oreal voluminous the silver/grey tube. No clumping, you can layer it, it doesn't flake I get complimented on my lashes. I have been using it for about 15 years too. I occasionally try others but always come back to it. It's about £7.99 or maybe 6.99 a tube.

herethereandeverywhere · 16/01/2015 20:25

I'm a Benefit Yes they're real fan though my SIL found it too clumpy. She says it's because she has short eyelashes Confused

CointreauVersial · 16/01/2015 20:39

Max Factor False Lash Effect.

nippey · 16/01/2015 21:03

Dior Show is amazing and you can get it for under £20 if you shop around. I am ginger and have struggled to find a great not too harsh brown and this is the only one.

HeeHiles · 17/01/2015 00:33

Does anyone else use Vaseline to remove eye make up?

No - but a drop of babyoil on a damp cotton pad works very well too - Never bought an eye make up remover in my life! But I was given an Estee Lauder one once and was horrible, my eyes stung and burned - awful

Millerpup · 17/01/2015 01:53

Loreal - telescopic & Max Factor masterpiece

I bought my current mascara (maybe line) for £3.99 in TK Maxx. I would recommend you look in there to see if there is anything good mentioned on here in there

ShumbTucker · 17/01/2015 09:07

Another vote for max factor 2000 calorie. I'm a convert from Benefit "they're real" as I couldn't get that bloody stuff off!

inconceivableme · 17/01/2015 11:29
