Here it's all go... dh ddad and ddog all snoozing quietly whilst pretending to be awake, teenagers upstairs doing their own thing. We're having lobster and chips for supper (yum) then down the local for a sing song round the piano. Planning to have a few sherries. What larks!

Wrapping mostly done. Food either bought or will have to be done without.

Went and stood outside in the freezing cold half an hour ago to see the space station passing overhead - we spotted it but have to say it wasn't very thrilling...

I am full of seasonal cheer and mulled wine.

Have caught up properly. NU you poor thing. Look after yourself and hope you feel better soon.

MI, White Christmas sounds lovely - tried to get my lot to go to local cinema here to see the film of it yesterday but they were most uncooperative (philistines).

Way to go all the gym bunnies / ladyjoggers. Respect.

Rose - my DF was a Dr and we always went into the hospital on Christmas morning - I enjoyed this when I was little as we got lots of chocolates and things and inspite of it being a hospital it did feel quite Christmassy and special.

Ha ha hatty yes, we're doctors daughters. We weren't allowed to say yes if offered chocolates and sweets incase ' it spoiled our lunch' Unsurprisingly we weren't allowed the sherry either
But the maternity hospital was fun.
We are in a packed and very festive restaurant. I am Very Full!

Home! Presents wrapped. Ds and do went to Horrible Histories Christmas.
Slumped in chair - wine, pasta....

We are watching Skyfall. I need another glass of something.

Lovely annual Christmas Eve out with friends, despite Pizza Express being rammed and not enough staff, and Miss Saigon not being very festive or a feel-good musical (White Christmas sounds just the ticket)!
Think we will forego Midnight Mass having partaken of a couple of glasses of prosecco chez nos amis on the way home
