Was that the horror thing on BBC 1? DD was watching it and I couldn't follow it at all when I joined her for the last 20 mins.

herbaceous · 24/11/2014 21:03

It was indeed. Proper creepy.

Can you tell that I'm supposed to be writing a lesson plan, once again about the FARKING present perfect, but am prevaricating?

bigTillyMint · 24/11/2014 21:05

No, can't tell at all HerbsSmile

QueenQueenie · 24/11/2014 21:31

Enters from stage left, brandishing tazer...
You still here Herbs?

QueenQueenie · 24/11/2014 21:32

GOOD LUCK CREM!

Blackduck · 24/11/2014 21:34

And exit stage left pursued by a bear......

lalsy · 24/11/2014 22:29

Really good luck Crem! Regular hours sounds much better.

herbaceous · 24/11/2014 22:47

Disarm that taser, QQ. I'm now doing my marking in front of the telly. Just like a proper teacher.

Good luck crem! Knock em dead with your PowerPoint.

MrsSchadenfreude · 24/11/2014 23:05

Good luck Crem!! My contract is 24/7/365, or it seems like it sometimes.

I want to go to the wanky club! We could all go and dance round our handbags and lower the tone.

MI is still having a lovely time (google Coromandel coast), but has succumbed to Delhi Belly.

I am watching Abigail's Party. I've got very beautiful lips.

QueenQueenie · 24/11/2014 23:07

.. Do you look in the mirror and say to yourself, "Mrs S, you have beyootiful lips?...." Grin

Auriga · 24/11/2014 23:34

I spent all day in an 'advanced' seminar on reflective practice. Remarkably similar to the introductory seminar, tbh.

Crem, I misread 'we were roped off' as 'we were ripped off', I hope that's not accurate. Your post made me think of the last night club I was in - it couldn't have been called Sweaty Betty's, could it? No, Crazy Daisy. But an easy mistake to make, given what I recall.

Herbs, have you prevaricated? Have you finished prevaricating? Shall you have been about to be caught prevaricating? Did you forget to prevaricate?

Another day, another concert for DD, this time in a London cathedral, both playing and singing. She hadn't told us she had some solos. She also has her GCSE instrumental performance tomorrow & has to record her composition on Thurs. And she's in the middle of about three controlled assessments. I'm not on her case about this. I'm going with the flow Grin.

Auriga · 24/11/2014 23:37

And good luck Crem

cremolafoam · 25/11/2014 00:09

THANK YOU ALL.
Am orf to bed. Hoping I will sleep lest I turn up looking like the undead.
WahhhGrin

Stropperella · 25/11/2014 05:58

Good luck, Crem!!!

NUFC69 · 25/11/2014 06:13

Only got time for "GOOD LUCK, CREM." I hope you can hear me.

MontserratCaballe · 25/11/2014 06:24

Good luck, Crem X

beachyhead · 25/11/2014 07:49

Have fun with your PowerPoint today, Crem.
Auriga, your dd sounds like she's managing really well. Is she aiming for music as a career?
Good luck with your bathroom today and Friday, CV.
In awe of all those studying and mindful of the Stropps Tuesday dash.
Off to complete a long list of dull jobs at work. Big bosses in town next week, so this is the last week of peace Smile

Late start today as I have a GP apt and a long list of things to discuss, including my still purple finger (which I think may be Raynaud's after a lot of googling)

Auriga, your DD does indeed seem to be managing herself and performing beautifully - no wonder you are so proudSmile

Good Luck to all who need or want it today!

MrsSchadenfreude · 25/11/2014 08:43

Yes, QQ, and I call myself Ange as well. Grin

Lots of luck, Crem!

Herbs Auriga my adult education diploma course was entirely based on reflective practice. It drove me bananas at the beginning…..eventually I got more in to it, in a new age, weirdy, hippy sort of way… Confused
And Auriga your DD sounds like she has a stunning musical career ahead…fantastic. I have to say although I've tried (and failed) not to live vicariously through the kids, I so enjoyed DS2's GCSE Music, and am also for the AS level. They are the only homework noises in the house that I would run towards rather than run away from! Grin

Cremo hope I'm not tool late to wish you the best of luck today. You'll knock 'em dead Smile

Oh heavens Rudy is that in a professional capacity? Good luck with it. I loath being shouted at…I automatically feel tearful.

Tilly Hope it goes ok at the Gps.

I am off shortly for a hospital tour in a relevant dept to some of my work. It's brand new and the staff are keen to show it off. Then I have to steel myself to face choir tonight, 3 more to go. Ever just want to run away?

cremolafoam · 25/11/2014 09:08

One is pooping oneself.
I've got shaky head( involuntary wibbling)
ConfusedGrin

Blackduck · 25/11/2014 09:16

Rudy really (never thought bikeability could be so confrontational!)

Cremo - deep breaths......

NUFC69 · 25/11/2014 11:11

Thinking about you, Crem. I hope it's going well?

Rose, I cry when I am angry so complaining can be a nightmare. Sad I have tried very hard to overcome the problem, but it seems to be my default setting. I hope the meeting is ok, Rudy.

I hope MI isn't too poorly. I sympathise as I have picked up e coli in Portugal and the Egyptian version of Delhi belly in the past. I still come out in a cold sweat when I think of the flight home from Portugal.

Very impressed with your DD's musical ability, Auriga.

I hope the GP's visit is going well, BTM?

Blackduck · 25/11/2014 12:11

Yes, I too hope MI is okay - I recall a very long flight back from India with dp (they took him off at Mumbai and I thought they weren't going to bring him back and I'd be landing in Heathrow having to explain to his folks he was still in India. The pilot even came down to say 'you will make it home, won't you as a diversion costs thousands') - cue a week off work and more weight loss on his return....

NU I cry too when angry - it's a pain isn't it as no one takes you seriously......
