Today I'm wearing Pettys and last year's jumper and black skinnies. Feel great, I'm having a boot week Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 08/10/2014 07:53

Love that MD coat Marsha, the colour would look amazing on you, so if your sister is similar then ditto.

One, sorry to hear about your hand Sad. Hope it heals soon. Great charity shop finds!

Novice seriously, you need to find a way to calm work down a bit I know, easier said..., your body does this to you every so often, the only way to make you ease off a bit is to completely stop you in your tracks Hmm. Schedule in a bit of relaxation to your diary Smile or the wheels are going to come off at some point!

Sleepwhenidie · 08/10/2014 07:55

Oops, sorry Blair with the coat, still lovely and yy for an Autumn Smile

shopafrolic · 08/10/2014 07:58

One hope you get sorted soon - love how you keep powering on - good for you
Dry colours on Sat
Lib and Novice try and get some chill time please
Black TS jeans and I&I grey cashmere today with LKB knee highs (still not sure) - the jeans really are too short so I need to order the 34 leg.
QueenC good one on the bag
Waves to Topaz

I am hiding under the duvet as feel rubbish but the nurofen is taking effect. Dh has made me a tea but he's zipping off to the Netherlands for a couple of days (he was in Paris on Monday).

No going to work but my week will suck even more if I cancelled all 10 meetings so will do half as conf calls.

QueenC glad you got your bag. There is always MN weirdness about Radleys but a lot of the newer ones are really nice.

Blair, I will go against the trend I like the Zara one best.

BrandyAlexander · 08/10/2014 08:16

Okay I hadn't seen Auntie Shop and Auntie Sleeps posts.Blush It's weird that you both know how my body works and lovely that you care.ThanksThanks

shopafrolic · 08/10/2014 08:19

Novice when I worked for that big retailer I used to get ill at the same time every year. As soon as the seasons changed. If I went straight to bed and did nothing I was usually back up and running within a week. If I didn't I would end up signed off for a month, having to take strong antibiotics and steroids to get sorted. Please take care. You can't be super human. Flowers

Fedupnagging · 08/10/2014 08:29

Morning all

Flowers for Novice and slow down!

Am meeting some girlfriends for brunch today but the weather is atrocious so not sure how much retail therapy will follow. Am wearing my new J Brands, these boots and J Crew Breton I bought in the US.

Links are failing this am so will post top separately.

Fedupnagging · 08/10/2014 08:32

J Crew top

BrandyAlexander · 08/10/2014 08:32

Yes the annoying thing is that the changing of the seasons coincides with my busiest time of the year and when I do the most travel. It's why I don't look forward to the autumn fashions as it usually a signals a 4 month slog to Xmas! Unfortunately this year my various leadership roles are all going nuts simultaneously. I will calm down. Promise.WinkSmile

Dry loved that jumper last year.

Fedup those boots are great!

Fedupnagging · 08/10/2014 08:34

Love this

Am getting so frustrated - iPad is running slow and keep losing links, grrr.

Sleepwhenidie · 08/10/2014 08:46

That's gorgeous fedup

QueenCardigan · 08/10/2014 09:22

novice glad you're taking it slightly easier today. I've got dd1 at home with headache/nausea. Tbh I think she's exhausted after a birthday weekend and just needs a duvet day.

fedup do you have ios8? If so that's why your iPad is so slow and losing links.

Stokey · 08/10/2014 09:59

Novice and One hope you feel better. I've had a cold for two months now, just can't find time to stop. DH had a scratchy throat last night and is now at home in bed, men for you.

Lovely bag QueenC, glad you got what you wanted.

I love that MD coat Blair. I'm lusting after their leather jacket but need to get a new job first.

Really like the jumper you're wearing today Dry.

I saw my first pair of real life culottes on the tube this morning. They were surprisingly nice, grey wool ones. She was wearing them with brown just below the knee boots (it's chucking it down here) but I think may have looked better with flats. Anyone been tempted by culottes yet? I suspect I'm a bit short to look good in them.

QueenCardigan · 08/10/2014 10:36

In theory I love culottes but think they may be a bit 'out there' for my neck if the woods. I'm struggling even with ankle length or rolled up jeans with ankle boots as I fear everyone will just think my jeans are too short rather than thinking wow, she's on trend. It's not exactly a fashion back water here but it's fairly conservative boden/fatface/White stuff.

OneLittleLady · 08/10/2014 10:40

Thanks for novice slow down and take care of yourself lovey

stokey I have been looking at culottes but like you, I suspect I'm too short for them to look right or good on me.

Lovey jumper Dry

Hope you're okay liberty and not suffering for being up so late as you post shows!

Karbea · 08/10/2014 10:49

fedupnagging really like the J Crew jumper.

AmberNectarine · 08/10/2014 11:37

Funny you should ask Fedup as I have just this morning ordered a pair of pleather culottes. Will probably be dire but can always be returned!

AmberNectarine · 08/10/2014 11:38

Sorry fedup, you're entirely uninterested in my dubious fashion choices - it was stokey who asked!

OneLittleLady · 08/10/2014 11:42

todays outfit is made up of yesterdays charity shop find M&S wool zebra print skirt, black vest top, red cashmere cardigan again, black fleece lined tights, black leather biker boots and on top will be my red trench coat and my McQueen Scarf

TexanKenDoll · 08/10/2014 12:00

Gosh, it moves fast here!

Thanks for all the shoe suggestions, I'm yet to find exactly the right thing, the search continues...

So glad the cold has come in, I love winter coats. My love of this season is a big grey, fuzzy oversized cocoon coat from Burberry Prorsum-feels like you're wearing a hug!

libertychick · 08/10/2014 13:27

Yes last night was a late one and tonight likely to be as well but have penciled in some downtime tomorrow. I'm coming to a pause point in the project I am on so I think I'll take 2 weeks off in November - on a break from the analysis I was doing last night I wrote a list of all the things I need to do with a couple of week off and there was 24 items on the list and one of them is 'declutter house' Grin. I may need to refine that too.

I am hankering after culottes - I had some in the late 80's and I loved them. I love that grey J Crew jumper fedup.

Great outfit one - is the pain any better today?

Today's outfit is some very stretchy Monsoon grey velvet/cord skinnies and Cos oversize jumper. Wore grey leather converse, new scarf and red bag for the nursery run.

libertychick · 08/10/2014 13:29

Working from home obvs with that outfit!

Stokey · 08/10/2014 14:18

OOh exciting Amber let us know how you get on. I think you're a similar size to me.

Maybe I need pleather culottes rather than a pleather midi Hmm

AmberNectarine · 08/10/2014 16:08

Love that outfit Lib

I went for lunch with DH in town and wore a purple Jack wills jumper, mid wash skinnies, burgundy suede Chelsea boots (also Jack Wills - I am 14), grey double breasted Wang blazer, purple silk MaxMara scarf and grey leopard print Mulberry hobo.
