What's your S&B 'thing?'

Everyone has something that they've got loads of already but can't resist a new addition to the collection.

For me it's coats. I have five Gilets, and probably eight jackets and several winter coats, I added to the collection yesterday with a lovely Mint Velvet Boucle coat. God knows why, just loved it!

I'm also partial to mascara, lip gloss and trainers. It's actually an illness , right? Grin

What's your thing ?

Jersey dresses and jumpers!! I have about 50 the same from the white company but am always worried they might stop selling jersey dresses for summer. I live in them.
Bit daft!!

mignonette · 23/09/2014 16:10

Shoes, lingerie and skirts. I love really out there shoes. The kind that ought to be in a modern art museum. I get stopped in the street for my shoes and they are often photographed by people with nothing better to do. There's lots of us out there apparently Smile

TexanKenDoll · 23/09/2014 16:20

I think my DH wishes I had only one 'thing'! This time of year it's coats (ordered my most recent purchase from Burberry straight after the show in February...sad), boots, cashmere, cable knit, intarsia dresses, Christmas party dresses-I could go on and on! Year round, it's gym gear as I'm there a lot, denim and shoes. Only thing I don't obsess over is lingerie. It's a sickness....

ThisBitchIsResting · 23/09/2014 16:34

Tops I think. It's so easy to buy tops.

Jeans, dresses, coats, shoes, proper knitwear etc all require a lot of thought and planning and research to get the right one, but I buy tops willy nilly, I can't walk into a supermarket without buying one and if I risk browsing the web fashion places for too long it's expensive tops too. I like my top half, I am pear shaped with small boobs and toned arms so most tops look good and give me a perk up most bottom halves look dire

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 23/09/2014 16:39

EVERYTHING if I like it I buy it in other colours, I like to be matchy matchy so have loads of bags and shoes to go with stuff, my latest fave thing is 'leather' biker jackets, I have a red one a green one a tan one and a black one --and 2 that are too big for me now from last year , (thank you SW) I have loads of shoes and since the weight loss have been stock piling dresses Smile I LOVE clothes

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 23/09/2014 16:41

oh gosh... knickers too I have loads, used to have loads of bras too but again since the weight loss I am waiting until I am at target before re measuring and buying new, whoo hoo can't wait Grin

slug · 23/09/2014 16:48

Ahh Mingonette. Indulge me if you will in my United Nude shoe obsession

msfreud · 23/09/2014 17:09

Shoes! Don't do heels though but brogues, trainers, flats, sandals, boots...

Nail polish. I have probably around 50 bottles. Blush

Nail varnish and lipstick, esp. nail varnish. Oh and eyebrow pencils, I have spare brows and am constantly searching for the ultimate eyebrow make-up.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 23/09/2014 17:28

sparse, not spare (I don't have an extra eyebrow lurking somewhere).

Saurus72 · 23/09/2014 17:28

Scarves, handbags and dresses. I need to stop buying scarves really, but they're so lovely and soft and cosy in AW. Handbags - I'm not sorry I love handbags, I just think they can make your outfit and your day so much better when you find the right one. Dresses are definitely the future for me - so easy, especially at weekends when I often go to meet friends in London in the afternoon, go to an exhibition etc and then stay out for dinner/drinks. Dresses just seem to work really well for me.

Although if I could stop buying clothes, I reckon I would save £200-300 each month Hmm

callamia · 23/09/2014 17:35

Stripes
Yellow and blue things
I realised today that I wear a lot of yellow.

lurkingaround · 23/09/2014 17:38

Jackets then Coats. So many nice ones, so easy to buy...
And then I have a fondness for boots.
And good god but I seem to have gathered a worrying number of sandals this summer. Which yy I know is ridiculous given the all of 3 days of summer we usually get.

TheEnchantedForest · 23/09/2014 17:49

Sunglasses

Earrings

Hats - I NEVER wear them, I just like the look of them in the shop/online and end up with mountains if the things.

MmeGuillotine · 23/09/2014 17:54

Black Milk skater dresses, Bete Noire/Tatty Devine style necklaces and earrings, NARS lipstick, Dr Martens boots, gourmand perfume, Illamasqua nail polish, faux fur coats, leopard print anything.

I just can't resist any of these things, but it's A Look, I suppose? ;)

Stripeybum · 23/09/2014 17:56

Oh god I'm another one for grey jumpers and leopard print (shoes, coat, bag, top..). And nail varnish, all sorts of bloody nail varnish

itsbetterthanabox · 23/09/2014 17:57

Nail polishes. I have thousands!

ocelot41 · 23/09/2014 18:00

T shirts... Green, teal or jade ones specifically

RockMummy · 23/09/2014 18:03

Mac lipsticks, scarves, jackets especially leather ones and boots mainly brown ones. A bit of an addiction!

TallulahBetty · 23/09/2014 18:23

Lipsticks in identical shades. Someone stop me!!! Confused

Icedfinger · 23/09/2014 18:26

Cardigans. I have too many!

Fabulassie · 23/09/2014 18:31

I keep buying new foundations.

I am trying to not buy more perfumes. I used to have over sixty perfumes and now I try to stick to the eight I have (Coco, Mitsouko, Opium, Shalimar, White Diamonds, Beautiful, and Anais Anais) but I want at least one more that I sniff every time I walk through Marks and Spencers...

I have a ridiculous number of cardigans and I never wear them. Something like 30 of them.
