I've done this once before with cosmetics only, but interested to see if it'll work for clothes too.

I've just had a massive clear out of clothes, cosmetics, beauty stuff etc and am wondering if any of you lovely MNers would like some stuff for free?

There's too much to list individually, but for instance, there's a Monsoon black tuxedo jacket, Lipsticks that have never been used, a pair of cream wedge sandals, etc

What I suggest is that if you're after something specific, is to post outlining it eg 'I have a job interview next week and would love a new smart jacket' or 'I'd like to experiment and try a new lipstick colour', or whatever, and if I have something similar I'll post. One item per person please. Once we've agreed on who will get what, lets PM and I'll post the item to you.

:-)

Hi, this is very kind of you.

Do you have any simple jumpers in neutral colours (grey, cream, navy)? I'm a size 8. I wish I could offer something in return. Thanks

TheImprobableGirl · 14/09/2014 00:48

If you have any dresses along a similar vein to the m and s one shown up thread with the Peter Pan collar, or cami tops, or fitted jumpers. (Obviously only one of the above ;)) In size 12 I would be most grateful and make a nice home for it!

Oooh do you have a beige/grey clutch bag? Struggling to find one for a wedding. Thanks

StarvingBookworm · 14/09/2014 09:04

Hi Tiger, this is so kind of you.

I'd love a bag if you have one, for casual use. I carry a big purse, kindle, a few other bits. Or any tops in an 8 ... I'm wearing lots of denim/navy/Brown on my bottom half atm and have discovered the joy of greeny-turquoise-teal!

BeCool · 14/09/2014 09:12

Hello kind Tiger.

I bought myself a lovely shimmery summery orange lipstick, to replace one used up, at the beginning of summer and then promptly lost it without using it. It has not turned up all summer long.

If you have anything along those lines I'd be v happy Wink

missmakesstuff · 14/09/2014 09:37

Such a lovely idea, you must be very organised! theimprobablegirl I am currently 12 wks with number 2 and on the lookout for maternity stuff, usually a 12-14. I like cool bright colours, struggling for things for work at the mo as I just look fat and am still trying to hide it! I have a ton of baby clothes in the attic, but waiting to see what colour it is until I sort them and give them away, if you could wait till late October I might have some things then! (have a feeling it's a boy and we will find out this time I think!)

missmakesstuff · 14/09/2014 09:39

Sorry, meant to say a ton of girls clothes, obv going to sort what we can't use, if it's a boy.

TheImprobableGirl · 14/09/2014 15:26

Miss makes, I definitely have some nice worky bits- I work in an office in the nhs so quite smart/casual etc? I will have a dig around... Could you make use of the black dress maybe as well? No worries if not, may aswell use up the postage is all!

missmakesstuff · 14/09/2014 21:04

That sounds amazing, thank you! I'm an art teacher, so smart casual is great, I love buying new things but am too scared to due to mc last time and also nice things just get covered in clay/paint etc..
Will I pm you my address? I will defo look out some girls baby things when next I can face going into the loft...

missmakesstuff · 15/09/2014 16:23

Sorry, that sounded like your things aren't nice, which of course they will be, I just don't buy expensive things for work! Very grateful, thank you!

Tigerbear · 15/09/2014 21:57

Sorry again for taking so long to reply - still feeling out of sorts with a stupid cold, and 3 year old DD has been quite demanding the past few days!

I've now had a chance to go through more stuff and will post pics now for everyone who has requested things so far. If I haven't posted something for you, I'm sorry but it means I don't have anything that matches up to what you need.

Some people posted but didn't give their size:

larryadler - I have a work jacket in a size 8-10
worm77 I have work tops in sizes 8-10
Needasilverlining - if you're a size 10, you're in luck - I have Emanuelle Alt style leather trousers!
Justputyourshoesonnow I have cardigans and a snake print top in a size 10 - what size do you need?
DrBartlet - what size boots do you need?

For those who wanted cosmetics - Bigbadbarry and Bobble33 what are you looking for, specifically? (I'll post a full list of cosmetics later so you can see what there is)
