Hi all.. , several of us on S&B have been posting about our clothese spending ( we know thatis what S&B is about [smile}.

We have wardrobes and chest of drawers utterlyand totally rammed...

We have piles of clothese we've even forgotten we have,(some with the lables still on )

We obsessively peruse S&B looking at recommendations (and then buy them, just because there are there)

We have no willpower,(yet )

We are a friend to every online shop and discount offer going..(not to mention credit card companies)

We just cannot resist sales..

Our postmen and women and the local couriers are getting to know us better than our friends and neighbours..

BUT we want toget back into control and just enjoy what we have to wear.

To this end We the Undersigned PLEDGE to a NO spend August on clothes bags, accessories and shoes (and also make up and beauty products if that is your weakness)

The ONLY exceptions will be tights, basic underwear (knickers and bras) and to replace something that has Genuinley worn out..

It will be hard .. It will be tough.. We will have to be accountable to each other ..BUT WE CAN DO IT!

It's barely 6am and I've already spent over £150 on White Company sale items (clothes). Multiple sizes, granted - but still...

Well someones placed a bid on the dress so its out of my hands!!! 12 watchers this morning. Wow £150 on white compsny. I love some of the stuff from there. Have you ordered before? Whats quality like?

Am home today , but dont feel gulty as still wobbly.. This morning I have packaged up a unworn (and expensive) cardigan (still with lable on) to return to HOF .. ill only get vouchers now because of its (just)over their 14 day cash refund limit (poo) - but ill try (very hard ) to use those on christmas prsents..

I would have returned a Woolovers cardi also , but when I found the swing label which id taken off itinth ebotton of the bedroom wastepaper basket it had a coffee stain on it ! Bah..

Have started on the wardrobe clearout .. and I have my camera battery firing up as we speak .. am going to list several Boden dresses and a Fossil bag later on ..

I'm still holding fast ladies. 13 days and no spending. The surprising thing is that it's only been 13 days. Feels much longer. Goes to show how much totally unnecessary crap I was buying before.

Am today wearing some trousers which I bought years ago in size 12 but they are a snug 12 so couldn't get my fat arse in them. Now I have lost weight they fit nicely.

Today wearing gorgeous pale blue linen pintucked loose fit dress from John Lewis. Only bought a couple of weeks ago in the sale -( but I did send two others back even though they were great too.. )

Listing stuff on ebay though ..and cardi is in the post back to HOF..

Well i am wearing a lovely pale bluish grey lilac self embroidered tunic that is fine cotton and really long..from Plumo a couple of years back. Its one of those things that i really like but never wear because i have too much choice. I have w.stuff jegging capri's on underneath and my black dr martens chunky sandals.

Halle....i am losing weight currently and tried on two pairs of trousers and they fit!!! Its probably just water that ive lost and no carbs..but its a real boost to me!!

I haven't felt the urge to buy any clothes for 4 days now .

I have, however just spent a small fortune on tickets to see Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet next year .

Oh, i liked those shorts laska!!! It did look like a skirt!!! I have 3 pairs of topshop tapered trousers...with the print..they are amazing and comfy!!!

Well it's a total mum uniform today of breton top, skinny jeans, saltwater sandals. I have not bought a thing since yesterday's "incident". I have been busying myself with the kiddies today and making soups and stews etc. anything to distract me!!

I fell off the wagon, bought a hoodie but it is classic, I will wear it forever and it only cost a tenner.
