Do you buy your partner's clothes?

Would love to buy a few things for my partner but not sure how he'll respond. Does anyone buy their partner's clothes and have any pearls of wisdom about how to go about it? It's not that he has bad taste, it's good but he just doesn't get round to it.

Signora - DH used to have that problem, being a rugby player with big sholders but a trim waist, he started shopping in Charles Tyrwhitt as they had a store near his old office, now just orders them on-line. Not cheap, but nice and fit him.

(However, I would not buy them for him, he's perfectly capable of ordering online himself.)

Wow everyone. Thanks for all the responses. I'd be delighted if he bought me more stuff - would save me the trouble of thinking up something new to wear to work. He does come home with accessories (for me) occasionally but it's usually stuff I've pointed out. I do think I'd like to buy him occasional items, in the manner of I saw something and I thought of him, more than wanting to be his mum :)

We are the same as Hecate and split tasks according to least distaste.

I like clothes and shopping so I keep DH looking good at the same time as buying my own things. He also has fairly bad taste, tbh.
