I am quite excited. Just waiting for my boots delivery then gonna do it later. Shall I leave the socks on for the hour?

StairsInTheNight · 29/06/2014 07:24

Oh dear! Well they still haven't worked! Well obviously now my feet wil fall off :-D

cardoon · 29/06/2014 07:53

lol, you should have gone to specsavers Grin

StairsInTheNight · 29/06/2014 08:30

Grin I just re-read it and have no idea why I thought I had to wear them every night! Can't wait to see what happens - fully expecting to have pigeon stumps this time next week Sad

GiniCooper · 29/06/2014 08:45

I did mine on Wednesday evening.
I left them on for about 1hr40mins.
Dry and hard skin but no peeling. I'm soaking now as we speak.

Really laughing at all the rustle, squelch comments. Grin

My toenails are really white which is an added bonus. Daz white toes!!

Coumarin · 29/06/2014 09:17

Bloomin heck stairs ! No wonder your feet feel rough! Grin

I think, once exposed to air the active ingredients will lose strength so hopefully your feet won't drop off.

You're definitely going to have peeling though.

spookyskeleton · 29/06/2014 09:42

Can someone confirm what the purederm ones are called? is it the exfoliating ones with papaya and chamomile?

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2014 10:32

Starting to wonder wtf ive done. Ive just had a chemical peel havent I?

ArgyMargy · 29/06/2014 18:52

Loving this thread - I bought some ages ago after reading Sali Hughes but it never seems to be the right time! But now I've read this I'm going to give it a go - just want to be reassured that I can go running mid-peel and not end up with bloody stumps… anyone??

JenniMoo · 29/06/2014 19:05

Mine didn't seem sore at all during the peeling. However, a week after the peeling had stopped I had 2 days and 2 normally comfortable pairs of shoes cause terrible blisters :( it's the top of my feet (from the Birkenstocks) and heel (pumps). It could just be that it was hot and my feet were a little swollen, but I'll be putting Vaseline on those areas next time.

justjuanmorebeer · 29/06/2014 21:18

So to update everyone. I used two packets. The first one did absolutely nothing after leaving it on for an hour so I did another a week or so later and left on for 3 hours or so. This time I did get peeling but unfortunately it has not touched my heels which is really the only bit I really wanted to work on!

Skin has pretty much finished peeling now. Bit flaky still but I would not say they feel particularly smooth. Not much different really.

Doubt I will do again but am considering one of those micro pedi devices for future.

Absolutely roaring at stairsinthenight

FoxyHarlow123 · 30/06/2014 17:46

Your feet WILL peel if you wear sweaty trainers or wellies for a day or soak your feet every night for at least an hour.

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 14:20

My Purederm arrived this morning, and I am going to do it tonight! EEK!!!

StairsInTheNight · 03/07/2014 14:41

Ah, I should update! I was using pure derm too. They peeled like mad on about day 5, I ignored advice not to pick and scraped them loads in the bath, loads of skin came off. Took about 3 days and now they look brilliant, almost all the hard skin has gone, they feel so much better.

Going to order some more as I presume it will build up again. Well worth a fiver!

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 15:26

Well that's a bit of a relief stairs - if you'd been using Footner, by my calculations, you'd spent over £100 on it.... Grin.

JenniMoo · 03/07/2014 17:33

Thanks for the update, stairs, I will give the purederm a go next time.

BeatriceBean · 03/07/2014 17:34

I put mine on last night.

ive got a problem today though - I have quite horrible feet so rely on foot scraping and daily moisturiser. It says not to use moisturiser so nkw they are dry cracked and hurting :(

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 18:36

Just put mine (purederm) on. Smells a bit scary.

JenniMoo · 03/07/2014 18:37

Beatrice - mine looked and felt really dry just before peeling. Perhaps a good soak would make them feel better?

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 19:37

Oh crap. It's leaked through the socks I put on over the top and I've been leaving damp footprints of the stuff everywhere. Less worried about the ceramic tiles in the kitchen, but rather concerned about the wooden floor and the carpet! Oh hell!!

BeatriceBean · 03/07/2014 21:27

Mine are permanently dry/cracked if I don't treat them. I hope they will be ok getting dry over the next few days ...

Jenni - good idea though, feet now in footbath :D

Card- Id wash that off as soon as you can. It's fairly potent stuff..

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 21:34

I washed it off. And before DH noticed!

BeatriceBean · 03/07/2014 21:38

Well done :) If my husband comes home from work now I will be looking er very alluring with my feet in a bucket of warm water...

cardamomginger · 03/07/2014 21:57
Wink

I'm all impatient for the peeling!!
