I am quite excited. Just waiting for my boots delivery then gonna do it later. Shall I leave the socks on for the hour?

I'd recommend going over the 1h to get your money's worth. I did 20 mins over and would do slightly longer than that even next time.

LulaPalooza · 23/06/2014 22:13

I went over an hour too. Was probs about 100 mins. I have serious peeling action still, but tonight I noticed the really hard skin on the heels and balls of my feet is still quite thick so not yet sure how effective it has been there. If I do it again I may just apply the lotion from one sock to those parts then cover with a dressing for an hour, because the skin on my toes and the rest of my feet will be very new. Then I'll have one spare sock if it needs a further go.

pretty impressed so far though Smile

Thanks, Mumsnet!

KarlWrenbury · 23/06/2014 22:14

not many photos though
i am not convinced
IS the skin coing off the hard areas or everywhere?

WingDefence · 23/06/2014 22:34

Mine have pretty much stopped peeling now one week on. Just a little 'tied mark' of gentle peeling around the sides.

I left mine on for 2 hours (watching the football, lost track of time) and they started peeling two days later.

I'm really happy with the effect. I looked down at my feet in sandals earlier and they look so much nicer and smoother. For those who asked about verrucas, the peeling sort of went around them so haven't made much if a difference there (shame) but overall I'm really, really happy.

I don't think I need to do mine again for a few months at least, hopefully I'll get through the summer with this one application.

WingDefence · 23/06/2014 22:35

*tide mark

LulaPalooza · 23/06/2014 23:08

It is coming off the hard areas, but because those bits are thicker it doesn't look as peely there

justjuanmorebeer · 23/06/2014 23:11

It hasn't touched my heels or under toe hard bit yet Sad not sure it will but still peeling

Oh my. Wore converse today and have just removed my socks. Well, tis and impressive amount of peelage I can tell you. Not all, but will def be wearing converse again tomorrow. Did footner on Saturday afternoon, so v. impressed, though I suspect my heels may need an additional go. We shall see.

dexter73 · 24/06/2014 18:24

Seems sweaty trainers seems to be the key to getting lots of peeling!

littlewoollypervert · 27/06/2014 15:20

OK I did my feet on Thursday night, and wore the socks for 90 mins.

I will take a photo tonight (before they start peeling) - during, and after, and will post them all together for comparison purposes. Fingers crossed!

(I'll have to put a reminder on my phone to remember to take the photos and post them)

Niknakpaddywhack · 28/06/2014 13:01

I received my Purederm ones from Amazon yesterday and (being impatient) used them straight away, having soaked my feet in warm water for about 15 minutes first. I left them on for about 90 minutes so, fingers crossed (and some sort of miracle), should have beautiful feet by the end of next week!

Just a warning - when I had them on I put one foot up while watching tv for a while then realised that it was leaking out of the top onto my socks that I had on top, and where it has touched my calf I have an itchy lump/blister this morning so avoid contact with other areas.

Will feedback on how the Purederm cheap ones perform.

Whenwillwe3meetagain · 28/06/2014 13:16

Does anyone know if ok to do while pregnant?

Skina · 28/06/2014 15:21

Whenwillwe3 - iced had a look at the blurb for Footner and it doesn't include pregnancy in its list of those who must not use it Grin, so I guess you can.

Skina · 28/06/2014 15:21

Iced? : I've

bringonyourwreckingball · 28/06/2014 15:28

I used the purederm last Sunday, nothing for a few days then on Thursday it all started coming off in strips. I look like I have some weird skin disease now but will have much nicer feet once it has all finished peeling

Coumarin · 28/06/2014 16:42

Gave my spare box away as I was holding back until my holiday in September but going to get another and start tomorrow. I can always do them again in a few months time if need be.

The S&G foot file and Heel Genius moisturiser is doing a good job but I want them uber soft.

Whenwillwe3meetagain · 28/06/2014 18:51

Thanks Skina

StealthPolarBear · 28/06/2014 20:04

Im footnering as I type. Are you not meant to walk about while they're on?

JenniMoo · 28/06/2014 21:41

Whenwill - I read on the website you aren't supposed to, as your skin is more sensitive. However, I would...

StairsInTheNight · 28/06/2014 22:11

Is anyone else doing this? I am on day four, have been using the socks after a long bath every night, Der at least an hour. They are all rough and horrid feeling now but no peeling!

Tell me it will happen?!

Coumarin · 28/06/2014 22:48

Do you mean you've been putting them on every night for 4 nights Stairs ?

AmpersandRea · 28/06/2014 23:17

I've succumbed to Footner - couldn't resist Buy one get one half price in Boots today.
I've had them on for an hour now, not sure I should keep them on longer; my feet feel a bit odd.

Can't wait for the peeling Grin

StairsInTheNight · 29/06/2014 06:36

Coumarin, every night for about an hour after a bath, not all night! No peeling yet.

If they do start to peel, do I keep using them? Or stop when peeling starts? Or just stop after a week?

JenniMoo · 29/06/2014 07:00

You're only suspend to put the socks on once...
