Okay. Instead of taking over the workwear thread. Ideas/pics for nice outfits for drinks and maybe a spot of dancing on summer evenings, please? Especially for those of us who quite like a bit of leg on show.

I like the scallop shorts and these there are also a set of beaded ones that look nice but are poss a ball ache in terms of the beading

They look flared of leg tho

I bought some "runner" style ones which look great and are v admired but are laughable as I am so far from a runner and am, let us face matters, far too old
i am now considering all other shorts including skorts

shorts have been my evening wear for about the last 3 yrs and am almost bored to death of them now although I keep coming back to them
I have been wearing the pj bottoms idea but feel a fool

loved the banana republic trews and have a fair bit of similar, great for day but associate too much with work now

I have some evening type jogging trousers I really like esp with heels and fitted top

Someone at work had floppy slim harems on yest. Looked ludicrous

Don't ever wear jersey ones but have other I love

My face evening outfit last few years has been silk harems vintage shell shape tops and gold strappy heels

Lol at stupid and fat I do find them slimming though

I have all the harems too Noddy. I stopped wearing them when I went for a drink avec brother and he and his friends did STOP HAMMER TIME literally all night
I never see them now without slightly wanting to do the dance

I didn't find them porkifying though but that may be because I was so thankful to finally get out of ultra skinnies

I'm on the shorts and the pj bottoms

I am wearing more flared things generally trousers skirts etc

I have never had any hammer time comments though .

She looks good in them I do like something less 'yummy mummy' playground which is a uniform where I live the skinnies/chinos blouse combo atm. I love all the backless stuff am but difficult with boobs

I have grand melones and no arse and therefore am farked for loads of fashion.
My Doreen style bra poking out the back of a backless number...lol

You don't need to be wearing one of those bras! But agree strapless virtually impossible.

Where are you finding backless stuff? I don't want totally backless but I do like a dipped back (ie not too low that I can't wear a bra).

Harem trousers not for me - I'd look like a Weeble.

I have seen a few backless things can't remember where prob zara as have been there I need bra so no good I like these thoughmore me than the more formal lace t shirts

That's nice - the neck looks very high though.

I also need a bra, but I have a couple of tops with a dipped back and really like them. They are very old and scruffy though - I'd like something more structured.

Too warm for summer dancing but this looks nice.
