Okay. Instead of taking over the workwear thread. Ideas/pics for nice outfits for drinks and maybe a spot of dancing on summer evenings, please? Especially for those of us who quite like a bit of leg on show.

Am not blingy at all! Those shorts I saw today they are like things boxers wear same cut and material

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2014 19:39

Sorry for the false accusation, Noddy. Was mainly thinking of the gold skirt, and harems with gold shoes comments - blingy!

Love all those Ronald I have similar things but not from there think I will get those jiggers in pic 2 love the dress what is the sizing like?

noddyholder · 22/05/2014 19:41

Oh yes I do wear gold heels! The skirt is lovely but I am not skinny enough and am too old for it.

RonaldMcDonald · 22/05/2014 19:46

I wear a 10/12 from humanoid but am mostly a 10
I'm more a hanging off than clinging on type but I think they are generous

noddyholder · 22/05/2014 19:50

Jiggers? Lol I am looking at the site v nice never seen it before

HalleLouja · 22/05/2014 20:19

Can I join in? Have been lurking.

On phone so can't link. Have recently lost weight so obviously need new clothes. I bought a lovely orange skirt from h&m which is lovely for nights out. Well I liked it. Also bought the h&m cotton trousers belinda blogged about.

Have also made a Great Plains order from their sale bit. A linen skirt and trousers and a lace on the shoulders top.

Remus I think you were on my couch to 5k thread yonks ago.

HalleLouja · 22/05/2014 20:20

Ps I have olive skin and can just about tolerate bright colours.

EduardoBarcelona · 22/05/2014 20:24

i have never heard of humanoid. heads off to per una

RonaldMcDonald · 22/05/2014 20:40

smiles kindly at you in per una

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2014 20:55

Hi Halle. Well done re the weight loss. I did Couch to 5K quite a well back but have been a lazybones this year. If the weather improves again, I need to get back to it. Haven't been 100% well for what seems like ages, and just haven't been able to motivate myself.

Went to Oasis today and was so disappointed. Lots of things which looked nice online looked cheap and felt awful irl. However, I was tempted to blow my holiday spending money on this. :)

Hello Halle - well done on losing weight. I've put some on, so am contemplating some form of exercise. And making more effort at avoiding sugar. Hope the H&M trousers work well for you.

Lots of links, but the main thing I am struck by is. Botox news - do report back! I am thinking of a "light" go at it, but the ongoing £££ is off putting.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 22/05/2014 21:41

DH will want to burn it, but I like this sort of skirt, too. W high heels and the smallest and / or slimmest top you can www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Midi-Scuba-Skirt-with-Pleats/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=3664745&SearchQuery=MIDI%20skirt&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=204&sort=-1&clr=Black

EduardoBarcelona · 22/05/2014 22:14

passes dh the matches

midi flared skirts are just frumpy

noddyholder · 22/05/2014 22:16

They look good if you are v slim. My new Zara skirt is the most flattering in a long time and it's midi

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2014 22:43

I'm quite fond of a full midi skirt tbh - wear them quite a lot. Need high heels though.

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2014 22:48

Wouldn't wear it but this is absolutely amazing in real life. Like a piece of art.

OP posts:
RonaldMcDonald · 22/05/2014 22:57

I might wear that Remus but only in the winter in a grungy way for fear that I look like mutton

EduardoBarcelona · 23/05/2014 06:59

Gah. I'm not getting most of this thread. I'm off to the old one

Stokey · 23/05/2014 07:56

Ronald I got a 25% discount off All Saints if you really love that dress, still £££ though. I think it's Style25
And have never heard of Humanoid but love that dress too. The gold skirt is not doing it for me but am getting into midi skirts.
Anyone got any good skinny tops to wear with them?

noddyholder · 23/05/2014 08:31

The gap ballet back t shirt looks lovely in all the colours

noddyholder · 23/05/2014 09:40

www.stories.com/gb/Ready-to-wear/Tops/Folk_Cotton_Top/582942-4339934.1 I quite like this for wearing with jeans/shorts and coloured flats

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/05/2014 16:14

Love Ed flouncing.

I'm not getting most of it either, tbh. Basically I think I'm still just a (very) little black dress person at heart.

Well, it's torrential rain here now, so I guess I'll be in ankle boots and a biker jacket after all that anyway!
