Phew...

Decameron · 25/05/2014 10:22

Shop, the J Brands I listed are at £40 now so worth selling your old jeans. Glad you sold the bag. eBay will charge you a final value fee of 10% as well.

shopafrolic · 25/05/2014 10:24

Thanks Decam - I have a few more bits selling today - designer sunglasses and a small Coach bag and purse, a couple of tops too. So that should cover everything. And then jeans is next weeks job! Good to know about the J Brands Thanks

Well done Shop

Had a night of debauchery of the bubbles kind fun. Went to a really nice place in Mayfair, I love Mayfair and that I first heard about it playing monopoly. Anyway I digress. I am still awaiting pay so no new dresses yet and wore old Sandro dress and Bruno shoe boots. Because it was the only thing I hadn't yet worn (lots). I feel really into the non high heel option atm. I almost thought if sell some Kors ones, again, but maybe they'll be handy one day.

The martini pre champers was probably not the best way to go, was great fun still.

shopafrolic · 25/05/2014 17:27

I've made £675 today! Not bad!

Day sounds lovely. Mine unfortunately hasn't been great. BIL, who is recovering from brain surgery a month ago, was admitted to hospital last night and it turns out he's got bacterial meningitis. Really worried for him, got everything crossed it's been caught early Sad

Decameron · 25/05/2014 18:33

Oh no, One, hope he will be ok, that's awful.

QueenCadbury · 25/05/2014 18:36

Lovely day here. novice were staying near lymington and are only actually going to pp world for a day. We've paid the extra to go and meet peppa in the morning. It's cost a small bloody fortune! Going on Thursday so will report back then.

No fashion news except that I got very excited that lymington has an esprit. No chance to shop today ( we were too busy crabbing and caught nothing. Everyone else had buckets filled with crabs!) but will find time later in the week to have a browse!

Fedupnagging · 25/05/2014 18:37

That's great Shop, well done.

Sounds like you had fun yesterday marsha.

We were supposed to go to a local pub to see a band tonight but have been so busy today, we really can't be bothered and neither can our friends old and boring so they are coming round and we're going to chill and drink wine in the garden. Perfect.

Enjoy your evenings everyone.

Fedupnagging · 25/05/2014 18:38

Just saw your post One. That's awful for your poor db. Fingers crossed he makes a swift recovery.

LinusDKD · 25/05/2014 18:46

Painful periods though and my tummy is soo swollen I look 5 months pregnant. Sad

Drywhiteplease · 25/05/2014 18:55

Cider followed by amaretto, interesting combo Hmm....I can see blue sky and the sun. Feeling hopeful for a dry day by the sea tomorrow.
One I have my fingers crossed for your BIL.
Just ordered this for work trips can always find a reason back packs along with packa macs really don't get me excited Grin

One I hope your BIL makes a speedy recovery. Sending hugs to you all.
Linus feel better. I know what you mean about eating too much. Hostess made the Most Amazing ice cream with strawberries and chocolate chips. I had seconds . Just had a lie down with DH to work it off Wink

Hehe love that Fedup!

shopafrolic · 25/05/2014 20:12

Dry I tried the dress. First thought was no, as it's quite cut away at the arm pits and shows what I refer to as my scallops (the bit between bra strap and armpit)
But with a bit of playing around, adding a new belt etc, I think it's a goer. Definitely for around the house and on hols. Thanks
And Amber I'll PM you but the shorts are keepers so Thanks to you too.

Either teenagers are bigger than ever or I've shrunk considerably as I'm, right at this moment, wearing a maxi dress meant for a 14 year old girl. It's white with bright pink flamingos printed all over it. Can see Amber in something similar!

AmberNectarine · 25/05/2014 20:33

Evening all

Did the Bupa London 10k this morning which was hard work (couldn't seem to digest my breakfast so had an awful stitch) but a great route with lovely scenery. Blimey, it was warm though! Then met DH and the kids for lunch before coming home to do some packing. This obviously involved lots of parading around in the mirror, so a good day. Bought this scarf as it's just so summery and I thought it would make a cute cover up in the evenings. Am enjoying my baby Rocco a great deal, glad I kept!

AmberNectarine · 25/05/2014 20:34

Link please one. Funny you should say that actually as yesterday I bought an age 13-14 jumpsuit in M&S - black with white and orange zebras all over it. And it was £16!

AmberNectarine · 25/05/2014 20:37

Oh no one, just read your post. I hope he's feeling better soon, what a rotten run of luck - I had the viral strain last year and that was bad enough!

Drywhiteplease · 25/05/2014 20:38

That's a beautiful scarf Amber and well done with the run.
"Scallops" Shop Grin will have to check mine Hmm glad it works for you.

libertychick · 25/05/2014 20:43

Trainers are Nike.Smile Oh plus my basic bling - 1ct diamond studs, engagement ring, wedding ring and raindance ring (yup, still traumatised!).

Today,me outfit but swapped the Me&Em tee and j crew sweater for j crew bejewelled baseball top and James Perse sweater.
