Let's talk workwear. Maybe a little bit of non workwear fashion chat, too.

My blog is at theworkwearedit.com but our chat goes above and beyond that.

Has anyone been in zara lately? It's too much of a schlep for me, am doing a wardrobe radical rehash as have lost weight and look like I'm dressing up in my mums clothes tbh. Am petite so need petite fit or three quarter sleeves. Has anyone seen these jackets in real life?

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 11:37

Brill - i dont do short jackets generalyl but like the red colour

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2014 11:38

Yes thanks, Belinda. Well, until I nearly fell asleep in my curry (had been awake since three o' clock yesterday morning and up since 5). Wore leopard flats, black combats, black silk t-shirt and denim jacket - was fine.

Like the look of those Zara jumpers, although most of them far too colourful for the likes of me. Pity there's not a grey.

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 11:41

theres a sludge? ( hopeful face *

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2014 11:43

The 'Sand' colour? Nope - I look corpse-like. The bright pink might suit me.

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 11:53

i have that

will try

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2014 11:58

Love the Sicilian widow look btw, Belinda. Am getting a bit old for it now though, as it looks TOO real! I put my black VW dress on last night and looked like a middle aged frump in it - horrible. :(

noddyholder · 07/06/2014 12:06

Love those jumpers think i'll get a few Did you get small? I bought a short jacket from zara about a month ago army green and have worn non stop which has surprised me! A short jacket is another thing that gives your other stuff a new look. Recommend

RonaldMcDonald · 07/06/2014 12:07

Troy try this

I like the sound of Sicilian widow

noddyholder · 07/06/2014 12:07

Think I'll get the black sand and coral

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 07/06/2014 12:09

Brillenbar - I went to Zara yesterday and all those blazers are REALLY nice looking. The white and red / orange ones (it looks dark orange in RL) are my favourites and I plan to buy the red / orange one. It's the one I saw 2 women wearing yesterday. I do need a white jacket, too, though.

Oh Remus - sounds like you suffer a bit. Not good. Monica Belluci still does Sicilian Widow well, and she is 49. I think the trick is to slap on the make up, keep hair glossy, add bling and foxy shoes?

Has anyone seen anything like those Kate Moss shoes in todays DM a bit like shoe boots for wearing with bare legs but not the £££ price tag? i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/06/06/article-2650396-1E831AAC00000578-89_306x700.jpg

RonaldMcDonald · 07/06/2014 12:19

I love Mossy..and spend a great deal of time trying to be her

noddyholder · 07/06/2014 12:19

www.kurtgeiger.com/women/shoes/boots/shoe-boot/fluttery-black-leather-36-vince-camuto-shoe.html love these but need under £100 really can't justify more and preferably closer to 50!

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 12:19

Right. I have the white (for blue trousers ) pale pink (sugared almond) and fuschia. I'm a busty 12--14

The small is fine. Loose bit doesn't make you look fat/ shapeless which the m might. Am keeping white small and ordering the pAle pink. Much nicer than t shirts but nicely lightweight.

Boden would charge 30 each for these

Not good at all - am totally fed up of it. :(

Noddy - not at all alike but these look nice.

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 12:21

Like that Ronald but I'm wondering if too old for t shirts for work

noddyholder · 07/06/2014 12:21

Those are lovely!

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 12:22

Wrt the jumpers I have a silk linen mix jumper from this season boden I love. It's in a colour they call soot. Is obv better made but for summer "too cool for a t shirt" days or those days where it starts cool and warms up , this is a great alternative.

noddyholder · 07/06/2014 12:33

Is the small tight?
