Let's talk workwear. Maybe a little bit of non workwear fashion chat, too.

My blog is at theworkwearedit.com but our chat goes above and beyond that.

Massimo Dutti have brought out a new black wool suit. £145 for the blazer, £70 for the trousers. Here are the trousers: www.massimodutti.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductPage?storeId=34009456&langId=-1&catalogId=30220004&categoryId=897001&productId=4525871&keyWord=BLACK%20SUIT%20TROUSERS&colorId=800

Despite this being a lovely looking suit, its only available to try on on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge? Why?? Its not exactly suit territory. How about some other brances?

In other news, my Zara shoes on eBay went for more than they cost Shock First eBay success ever I think.
(Time to clear out my unworn shoes to eBay)

Going to treat myself to a new white cotton top I think. My wardrobe has a gap for just a simple white top, not quite a t shirt, not a shirt. I like a few but I have only seen man made fabrics.

I like this: www.stories.com/gb/Ready-to-wear/Blouses_Shirts/Fringe_detail_blouse/582945-2936090.1

But they took my order and later cancelled it!

And this
m.topshop.com/mt/www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/clothing-427/tops-443/blouses-1759424/embroidered-blouse-2890938?refinements=Colour{1}~[cream|white]&bi=1&ps=24

But it's man made. The hunt continues!

pinkpear - that & Other Stories top is fantastic - I have seen it in real life. Excellent quality. Laura Fantacci of WIT has the long black dress version. They might have it in stock in the Regent St store?

The TopShop one is viscose. I have one like it, its pretty but gets a bit rag like. I'll let you know if I see anything similar

Littlepinkpear · 04/06/2014 10:39

I wanted the top as I loved the dress when I saw it on WIT. Breast feeding means dresses are pretty useless right now. I ordered the 12 but they cancelled the order due to a stock level mix up online and it's now out of stock.

I'm in Inverness, so popping to London would be lovely but unlikely this summer Smile September trip down is planned though!

Littlepinkpear · 04/06/2014 10:40

Will phone the store later to ask if I can x

BeattieBow · 04/06/2014 11:39

Thanks for the recommendations Belinda - I've ordered the first Zara skirt (and also another skirt that looked quite nice...).

On the tights front, I'm finding the Autograph 5 denier bare invisible tights pretty good. look quite er, invisible.

I also loved your bag Belinda - I did get the mini gracie a few weeks ago, but it was too short on me, so it went back.

I would love to find this bag - scroll down to the second post in but it's out of stock everywhere.

LaTrucha · 04/06/2014 12:21

Brantano have 40% off some useful Clarks styles that people liked on the other thread. e.g this

and also this colour that I love but have no use for. How would you wear that, if you would?

and this colour that I love but doesn't suit me

and this to me deeply weird shoe that I wanted to like as I like snakeskin. Don't you think it's odd (and ugly)?

Stokey · 04/06/2014 12:35

I don't really like that shape LaTrucha

I bought these snakeskin ones recently and they are reasonably comfy as a work shoe.

LaTrucha · 04/06/2014 12:51

Those are nice. I think the colour of the Clarks is weird and having the heel in nude looks odd. It's a pity as they would be a bargain!

Hi everyone, have been absent of late, had an horrendous few weeks at work but the good news is that that's over and I'm now a week into a holiday! Am sitting under an umbrella watching cough cough H and kids in the pool. In my Next parrot-y bikini! Got a Primark one too, like a palm print but it needed stitching, which I did in a hurry and it's now too small, boobs bursting out of it. Have Figleaves ones from last year but I am fickle and like a change.
Well, that's not really work related.
And more non work stuff: got a few skits in Mango, flippy ones for hols. Will link later, am on phone, driveth me crazy trying to link on phone. There's a good Mango here.
Have to catch up on your links. V hard to properly see pictures in the sun . Wink

lurkingaround · 04/06/2014 16:10

Skits!!Grin I mean skirts.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 04/06/2014 17:22

Actually, lurking, I'm not jealous. Not even a little. The torrential rain of yesterday, and the heavy rain of today mean that I am glad, glad, I tell you to be back to wearing winter clothes and carrying an umbrella. And I'm fine with the likelihood being that this years tan will come from a tube of Loreal fake tan. That will be nice. [weeps tears of pure Envy]

Seriously, enjoy every single minute - sounds blissful! And well earned.

lurkingaround · 04/06/2014 17:59

Thanks Belinda. Will be back in the rain before I know it! Am eager to hear the silver shoes conclusion!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/06/2014 18:13

I got drenched today, due to migraine-induced need for a trip to Greggs for fat and sugar. I'm wearing opaques and boots tomorrow!

V jealous of holiday sunshine.

TroyMcClure · 04/06/2014 18:15

remus - staffroom question re overheating on the other thread

Littlepinkpear · 05/06/2014 06:13

BR have sent me an email to say the sale has started. It actually says 40% off but it isn't really!

Littlepinkpear · 05/06/2014 06:14
