I got on the tube and YOU were gone! I dashed for the less crowded carriage, thinking you were faithfully following me. However, it seemed you had a mind of your own. Glad you actually got on. Can I assume you're now on your train?

Blackduck · 28/03/2014 23:56

Aha!! Yes! Oddly I just read that while the news was talking about the first gay marriages... I wish my Islington Gays would get married - it would be one hell of a party.

Thanks again QQ for you wonderful ho stressing, your cute dog and dishy DH. And apologies for arriving empty handed. Very bad manners.

And apologies to BTM, cV, Wilbur, BD and mrs S, to whom I hardly spoke all night. We'll just have to do it again soon!

herbaceous · 29/03/2014 08:13

"Ho stressing"! How amusing. I of course meant "hostessing".

addle · 29/03/2014 08:18

Thanks from here too, QQ, lovely evening - great aperetifs and food. Am now in Saturday errand whirlwind, dropping dcs at music and drama, hanging curtains, painting plant tubs. Gotta run!

bigTillyMint · 29/03/2014 09:43

Thanks from me too, QQ fabulous house and food - loved the nuts - what were they? Pix on FB :)

Stropperella · 29/03/2014 09:51

Me, me, I want to seeeeeeee.

bigTillyMint · 29/03/2014 10:03

Sorry, somehow the settings seem to be only showing DD - hopefully I have changed it now!

herbaceous · 29/03/2014 10:05

Ah yes! Marvellous. Though I'm considerably wider than I imagine myself to be.

motherinferior · 29/03/2014 10:12

And thanks from me too - really lovely evening!

CointreauVersial · 29/03/2014 10:32

"Ho stressing" - arf!

I missed the dishy husband! He must have been wisely hiding. I agree about the QQ Hound - the cutest dog I've seen for a long time. I did wonder if she'd fit in my handbag.....

My day is starting v-e-r-y slowly. I may get out of bed in due course, but no rush, no rush.

NUFC69 · 29/03/2014 10:45

Glad to hear that you all had a good time. Still waiting to hear about the lurex and sequins.

Very miserable here again; car temperature is 6 & a half degrees C! I don't want to hear about people having barbecues in the sultry weather down south. Off out to lunch with extended family - first a visit to a shop to look for new specs.

I hope that MrsS's shoulder is ok today.

herbaceous · 29/03/2014 11:58

Urgh. Supposed to be seeing MiL today, and really wanted to, but 5 minutes after forcing a whining DS into the car, he threw up all over the iPad we'd had to bribe him with. Next time I'll listen when he says he's got tummy ache.

So, now I'm pinned to the sofa beneath a sickly child, being made to watch Lazytown.

NUFC69 · 29/03/2014 12:16

Sorry to hear that, Herbs, I hope he's better soon. It's miserable being poorly when you're small, I think. At least when you're older you usually know what the problem is. Have a quiet afternoon.

Blackduck · 29/03/2014 12:22

Oh herbs, hope it's nothing serious!
Grin At ho stressing Grin
Yes Mr QQ is very dishy ....

I have taken mum shopping and am now slumped on the bed reading the papers (whole house was up at 6.00 so feeling a tad tired). I also have a nightmare of a journey to face tomorrow as half the tube lines round here are out so it'll be tube, bus, tube, tube before I even hit the mainline home!!!

Don't forget the clocks crepeys....
