Can someone explain how the bra measuring method everyone on here raves about works?

Seen a few thread titles alluding to it but could some please explain exactly how to measure yourself? Desperately need new bras but usually guess my sizes.

Wow, that sounds massive! I look forward to trying some new bras on as i'm sure none of mine fit properly or comfortably. Ill report back. Thanks

Flipping heck have finally got round to doing this. I appear to be a 30H [faints]

Was going to nip out for a new bra at lunchtime but will feel a right plonker buying that size - only have M&S or La Senza nearby. Might order online instead.

(And to think they nicknamed me Pancakes at school...)

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/03/2014 12:42

You won't find it in either of those so online is the best bet

Argh this is so confusing! Re measuring as 37wks pregnant, one of my 38D fits fine, the other is awful...

Have measured 37 ad 43 and a half?!

Am rubbish at maths and can't work out which cup sizes to try Confused

StatisticallyChallenged · 22/03/2014 10:42

I'd normally suggest 36F, 36E, 38E, 38DD

bebopanddoowop · 22/03/2014 10:48

Thankyou Statistically - am off to try some now just hope they've got some in stock in my local Debenhams, otherwise I'll be back to trawl through all the recommended links!

FluffyDucky · 22/03/2014 22:27

Well I went to my nearest Brasvisimo and I got a new bra, so comfy! I've gone from wearing a 32D/DD to a 30F! Thanks!
ps sorry about the spelling, I'm on my phone!

beckslovestimmy · 24/03/2014 13:54

Been bra shopping and finally settled on a 34F! I have been wearing anything from a 38B to a 36D all uncomfortably. I wore my best fitting bra in town and it now feels awful after trying on something that fits properly! Thanks for the advice guys Grin

enialenagem · 25/03/2014 12:58

You guys are amazing; bra shopping is the bane of my life. Nothing ever seems to fit properly. Currently wearing 30DD and my measurements are 27 and 34. Anyone suggest what will work best?

StatisticallyChallenged · 25/03/2014 13:13

Try 28e and 28f

Thank you, lucky it's pay day!
