if the MU is in July, I could get to London but not Birmingham. If you do decide on Birmingham though, I'll not come but come to the next one if there's another later in the year. I just don't really feel brave enough to go somewhere I've not been before with the stick yet, which is a bit daft but I feel self conscious and vulnerable with it. Smile

LinusDKD · 19/03/2014 20:49

I love that breton topaz! And the jeans.

I saw this on the One Show earlier and love it. It is 100% viscose though. Still, it's not 100% polyester.

lovely blue

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2014 20:55

It's horrible shopping under pressure and buying something you're not 100% about....best stick to what you've got. I love the Bella dress. You'll look fab whatever.....how about a nice orange sweatshirt?Grin

libertychick · 19/03/2014 21:12

Great breton Topaz. I have just pinned it. Will be great if you can come to a MU.

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2014 21:17

Topaz love the Breton, a bit different.

QueenCadbury · 19/03/2014 21:31

Aaaggghhh, I'm excited and nervous in equal measure Grin. I fly on Friday but am staying at the airport hotel tomorrow night. I hate packing to go away as I know I will get there and wish that I'd packed a certain top or something or other.

It looks like London may be the preferred venue for mu....

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2014 21:41

Let me know when it's set in stone so I can book advanced saver

OneLittleLady · 19/03/2014 21:50

I also need to know ASAP to get cheap train tickets, when it's decided, can't buy on the day as it's far too expensive.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2014 21:51

Dry booking an advanced saver is making me get excited.

QueenC I know it's nerve-wracking , but it will be worth it!

Topaz I am pondering high rise skinnies, I love those MiH ones.

QueenCadbury · 19/03/2014 21:53

I thought you could only book trains 12 weeks in advance. Am I missing something?

Let's just go for it....

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2014 21:54

Excellento, let's do this thing.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2014 21:55

Is it lunch? I guess not evening? Although I'm sure I'll be staying late, knowing me.

BrandyAlexander · 19/03/2014 21:58

Evening! So exhausted. V v v busy day at work. Shop glad you liked camo. It's £34 in total, so you saved 50%Grin

Am wearing wrap dress today by me&em. I bought it 2 months ago had second thoughts and never returned it. I have been complimented all day long. Go figure.

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2014 21:58

You're right QueenC but just saying......

QueenCadbury · 19/03/2014 21:58

I'll do the same as last time. Arrive at 10ish, mooch around regent st, meet you for lunch, get train home about 8.

BrandyAlexander · 19/03/2014 22:04

So is it 5 July in London? If so am in.

I am clutching my PS13 today. Just looked at through exhausted eyes and it made me smile Wink

shopafrolic · 19/03/2014 22:08

maradesbois · 19/03/2014 23:46

I'm going to take the plunge and say count me in for lunch on 5 July too, how nervewracking exciting!

OneLittleLady · 20/03/2014 05:54

Don't be nervous Mara everyone is lovely Smile

Count me in for the 5th too, I'll order train tickets as soon as they are available Grin

libertychick · 20/03/2014 07:06

Oh great - 5th July it is starts planning outfit Smile

Marade I was so nervous about the first one I went to. Worried that people would judge me and that I wouldn't look as glam as I'm a high street girl but this is a lovely group of women with lots of individual styles and full range of body shapes and budgets.

Who else can make it? Would be so good to meet more of you!

BTW Because if you are lurking please do feel welcome to come along.

QueenCadbury · 20/03/2014 07:36

liberty I'm already hoping that it won't be too hot- it's difficult to look glam in the London heat after traipsing around shops. Already looking forward to my other stories/banana republic/cos/uniqlo fix. And a visit to j crew to see if it is worth all the hype. I may have to not spend between now and then so that I can justify some spending

Drywhiteplease · 20/03/2014 07:45

But if it's hot we can all wear Gigis! Grin
Shop have you tried your orange sweatshirt with your khaki skinnies? Love those colours together.

Fedupnagging · 20/03/2014 07:57

Morning, not posted for a few days-have been reading. Can't remember who is struggling with Life after Life, but I really enjoyed it although it does need to be read in large chunks iyswim.

Some great fashion links and am thinking about joining you on 5th July although the pressure of looking good may be too much. plus I am old!

Not much to report fashion wise. Went to London on Sat and bought one ofthese and lots of these Blush.

Need some inspiration.

Now off to work to earn money to refurnish wardrobe.

LinusDKD · 20/03/2014 08:06

Morning!

Mmmm G&T's. I guess it's too early for a drink? But it must be 6 o'clock somewhere in the world. Wink

I dug out my old bretons from last year and I am wearing the navy/cream one from By Malene Birger with my Jimmies (again) and will wear my red patent Henrietta ballerine flats when I go out.

I am tempted to buy some more bretons as most of mine (apart fom the yellow MiH) are cream rather than white.

amber I saw on your blog you like the Esprit one even though it's not perfect. I will try them as well once my local Esprit shop finally has them for sale

shopafrolic · 20/03/2014 08:09

Of course Dry - looks awesome.
I'm wearing the camoflage sweat today - it's love. Now I need to decide which of my old ones to get rid of.........
Mara everyone is lovely - promise. It'll be great to meet you.
QueenC our second meet up was in full sun in a garden of a pub in Primrose Hill - I thought I might melt!
Fedup not sure what you class as old but why does it matter? Come! I'm going to keep trying with the book - I refuse to be defeated Grin. Have you given up on it Dry?
