What do we think of this year's dresses? I love Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o and Kelly Osbourne.

I quite like Cate Blanchett and Amy Adams.

I don't like Angelina Jolie's I think it's boring and a bit frumpy. Also Penelope Cruz usually looks great but I found her dress this year unflattering.

Feel free somebody to add a non daily mail link.

Kerry Washington looked beautiful. Kelly Osborne is a big fashion don't.

Why didn't someone tell Matthew Macconaughey's,) Mum no now no? Wrinkly knees and boobs. Loved Sandra Bullock's dress. I quite liked the peplum and amazing colour on Jennifer Laurence. Didn't like Julia Robert's dress at all. Too lacy/ suity at the front.

ListenToTheLady · 04/03/2014 19:26

Mum Mcconaughey looked to me like she had maybe spent some time losing a few pounds and getting primped and then wanted to show it off in a revealing dress? But she looked uncomfortable. Something flowing and Mirren-esque would have been more glam.

MeganBacon · 04/03/2014 19:34

My favourites are Kelly Osborne and Emma Watson. For an older lady, Jane Fonda looked absolutely lovely.
Many looked really meh though.

elizabethsmum · 04/03/2014 21:13

Lupita's dress stunning colour and mainly liked the style of it but the neckline was too plunging fir her athletic frame and very unflattering- if it had been just a little higher it would have looked much better.

Matthew mcconnaughey's mother- seriously unflattering dress unfortunately. Length and style all wrong.

Awful dress worn by Elsa partaky as well.

Can't understand how people can get it so wrong with stylists galore at their disposal?!

Feeling underwhelmed by red carpet choices this year.

I'm not one for looking at frocks, but I can't stop staring at the pictures of Lupita. It just works . Even exposing that muscular, ribby, very athletic chest. It's such a flowy, dreamy dress, there's just such a magical contrast. Bloody amazing.

SquidgyMummy · 04/03/2014 22:19

Loved Camilla Alves dress

(in googling her for a pic, i saw previous dresses and they are all fab. She is a class act. Shame Matthew didn't wear all black like his D&G ads

Kelly looks lovely on fashion police tonight

Lighthousekeeping · 04/03/2014 22:30

Remind me when Kelly became a fashion guru again?

RonaldMcDonald · 05/03/2014 00:46

I wondered about Osbourne as well
she always looks like a powerpuff girl crossed with desperate Dan

hackmum · 05/03/2014 09:16

I thought Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock all looked stunning. Lupita Nyong'o's dress was beautiful, but am I the only person who thinks she doesn't really have the cleavage for it?

TheBookofRuth · 05/03/2014 09:21

I agree with those saying it was the contrast with Lupita's athletic figure and short hair that made that dress look so stunning. On your typical Hollywood starlet it would look far too Disney princess.

Lupita looks amazing. Wonder who her stylist is, they both keep getting it right.

It's Micaela Erlanger

MarshaBrady · 05/03/2014 11:10

Thanks Snow, Lupita is a great client, she looks very pretty and glowing.
