The Anti-Color Analysis Thread

This is a safe space for anyone who
(tick any that apply)

  • wants to burn her scarves
  • will scream if someone goes semantic on 'Oyster'
  • does not want to be made to wear lipstick
  • is not looking forward to the next Kettlewell catalogue
  • does not identify with any particular season
  • will never ever do a style day
  • has self-diagnosed Stockholm syndrome
  • is tired of the tireless marketing drum of color analysis on S&B

I realize I may be endorsing an unpopular view but this thread here is for anyone who does not want to discuss color.

C'mon, am I the only one?
Raise your hand...

PS I will send a crappy lipstick personally chosen for me by a color analyst to the first taker. It's a shimmery peachy tone that has no staying power and streaks your teeth. But don't worry, it will make you look a million times better.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 21/02/2014 20:00

Oh sorry was only joking when I mentioned boob jobs/tummy tucks?

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 21/02/2014 20:01

I hate question marks at the end of sentences.

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:02

Joins Ronald in the expressionless face corner.

And come on - tethers was joking - surely you get that? I mean if any of you post on S&B frequently you will know how wonderful she is.

Gillybobs · 21/02/2014 20:03

I really hope this doesn't become the norm on S & B...starting threads to laugh at/slag off something many many MNers have found really interesting and useful. There are plenty of ideas discussed on here that I have no interest in but it just wouldn't ever occur to me to deliberately gather together posters to mock it. Each to their own folks, please.

RonaldMcDonald · 21/02/2014 20:03

so what if people are angry about HOC? and wish to call it House of cunts
they are just as entitled to their opinion and it is equally valid

i think it is boringly taking over S&B

RonaldMcDonald · 21/02/2014 20:06

also so what if some people like it

some people like drinking their own urine

there is no accounting for taste or sense

MissBeehiving · 21/02/2014 20:06

I agree with gilly - if it doesn't float your boat then ignore it.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:07

Oh for goodness sake. People have smirked a bit about polyester scarves and nasty lipstick. That Is All.

Tethers gives more advice/ideas on S&B than the rest of us combined, and anybody who knows the S&B boards would know that she was being tongue in cheek, not nasty.

Emo76 · 21/02/2014 20:09

"This thread is here for anyone who does not want to discuss colour" Confused

tethersend · 21/02/2014 20:15

Tongue in cheek?

Tongue in cunt, more like.

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:17

Oh, are you reading Game of Thrones too Tethers?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:19

:) I only read the first two GoT books. What did I miss?

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:21

A lot of girl on girl Remus - Daenerys gets experimental.

tethersend · 21/02/2014 20:22

Game of Thrones?

Game of Cunts, more like.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:22

Is she one who was with the hot horseman dude?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:25

And now I'm waiting for Tethers to leap in with, 'Hot cunts more like.'

tethersend · 21/02/2014 20:27

Remus, I can't believe you could be so disrespectful Shock

WhereIsMyHat · 21/02/2014 20:28

Oh no, all the HoC lovers have come here to spoil the fun. Go back to your season threads and leave us laugh.

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:28

Khal Drogo yes but he met an untimely end. Have read all the books and just watched series 3 - and am rather taken with her new male love interest.

santamarianovella · 21/02/2014 20:30

No one is expressing any anger here,we are all entitled to our opinions, but lets be honest, why when It comes to colour analysis ,we have to bow our heads and say amen? And flange is right there are no rules,
what I find so baffling ,is people who say,I was buying wrong colour all my life , really? And how are you certain that you look good now? Maybe you look just the same and want to believe in it because you just spent £100, plus £££ on buying things in your colour.

When did that happen mrscb? I'm just watching 3rd season, and remus Yes,that is so disrespectful, have some respect for the dead khal

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:30

Link, Mrs CB? I haven't watched any of it but dd2 is obsessed.

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:33

Oh hello!

The Anti-Color Analysis Thread
MrsCampbellBlack · 21/02/2014 20:33

Although in the books he had blue hair which would make him a winter? Wink

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/02/2014 20:34

:) Not as nice as the sexy dwarf in the stupid Hobbit films. Hello indeed

LinusDKD · 21/02/2014 20:34

Nothing to do with the subject of the topic, but I just bought the 3rd season of GoT today.

I'm surprised DH hasn't ripped off the cellophane wrapper and started an all night marathon GoT session. Grin
