Love her clothes and hair and everything!

But not sure I could pull it off ..... or afford it!!

I am 5'2 and a 16/18 and casper pale with mid length brown hair. I just love the colours she wears and the shapes. I tend to be in black trousers and a boring top all the time.

I made a complete ass of myself at the airport last week when I thought the person behind me was talking to me when in fact Kirsty was talking to her son Blush I have to say she looked lovely, very polished and not at all overweight or frumpy.

The key is looking polished I think. Choose clothes to suit you. Great haircut and a good skin regime.

She is a bit marmite but then I probably am - I have the same reaction to pom poms as she did on the crafty Christmas show.

Today I am wearing www.dorothyperkins.com/en/dpuk/product/dresses-203543/fit-flare-dresses-204534/floral-print-flare-dress-2340047?bi=1&ps=200

which is an actual colour! Not black! Not used to seeing myself in colour but seems to be an ok green with my paleness and dark brown hair.

I really like that dress fluffyduckie. It's a pity it isn't a little longer. I can only wear short dresses with opaque tights these days Sad

I wear it with leggings - I don't really bare my legs much since they are so pale that they are practically blue!

Fluffy, that dress is really nice, bet you look great. I find it hard to get away from black, my compromise is wearing colourful scarves to lift things a little.

I am really bad for wearing black trousers and a dull top all the time. No colour or accessories! Working on it but I feel a bit out of my comfort zone.

Oh good grief, so someone can be nasty about someone and be incredulous that you'd ever want to look like her but I get deleted for posting a perfectly acceptable acronym that is used all over MN every day? Seriously? Hmm

just watched her on miranda's 'maracatac' dvd and think she's fab! Xmas Smile

And why had my post been deleted when at least one other person used the same acronym and it's not been deleted?Confused

I think she is beautiful, very naturally pretty, not loads of makeup and fake hair type. She would look pretty whether size 6 or 16. She looks like a model thats why she is on the tv all the time. Not quite so keen on her style its ok and def not keen on her politics Wink But overall I like her.

Dreamfofavonlea, those dresses are less Kirstie and more 6 year old girl at a posh party

I think she looks great.

She works with what she has got very well. She has lovely skin and hair and bright eyes, and she wears the right amount of make-up - enhancing , but not caked on.

Her style is not my cup of tea at all, but it works really well for her. Its smart, feminine, looks comfortable and flatters her figure. I think she must have had her colours done, too, as she sticks to the same palette of dark jewel colours which really work with her complexion

I prefer Nigella, though. She's a bit sexier Grin.
