Love her clothes and hair and everything!

But not sure I could pull it off ..... or afford it!!

I am 5'2 and a 16/18 and casper pale with mid length brown hair. I just love the colours she wears and the shapes. I tend to be in black trousers and a boring top all the time.

I love bright colours and patterns. I like dresses. I think Kirstie looks smart and attractive most of the time.

Sometimes s&b seems to be the homogenising council (not always - I have found some gems through s&b recommendations). I like to celebrate individual taste. And being experimental in dress sometimes means getting things wrong on the way to finding your look.

Sparkly top / skinny jeans is the fleece and pony tail of the middle classes. Comfortable but yawn inducing.

I have been fat and thin, I have scars and missing body parts. But I have always been woman shaped by definition.

Now see you do need to be a bit careful judging her weight based on her top half. I have just been shopping today and bought size ten petite jeans from next but size 16 tops elsewhere to accomodate my boobs!
Being big busted makes you look heavier, I need to lose a bit of weight but have to lose loads to make a dent on the boobs!
So give KA a break-and everyone else.

No need to boast Grin I look like a boy unless I wear a padded bra Sad

MN does seem to have a disproportionate number of very buxom posters.

I think she's a frump. I really don't like the way she dresses.

Apparently not dressing in a sexually alluring way is a bad thing. Oh well.

I am a frump, and I don't care.

I love the Samantha Sung dresses she often wear, pricey but gorgeous. Kj's Laundry have a great selection www.kjslaundry.com/samantha-sung/

She is plump but dresses accordingly. I don't like her style but it does seem to suit her.

Her hair is nice and she has good skin.

She doesn't strike me as being a particularly Nice person as I recently saw her on the tv whilst I was round my friends house, and it was a house hunting programme and Kirsty came across as being jealous of the blonde slim woman who she was house hunting for.

Kirsty reminds me of a prissy, prim and proper girl I went to school with.

Old fashioned but not in a good way.

Having googled her, I can see that she is fat

i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/09/06/article-2034066-0DB49A5900000578-639_306x597.jpg

So obviously the clothes she wears, whilst are not terribly stylish do make her appear slimmer. I thought she was just plump but having seen the swimsuit picture she is clearly a lot more overweight in the flesh.

I like that she doesn't give a hoot about fashion and trends etc.

I like her.

I'm a frump too.

I met her once, she's much smaller than I imagined, probably a size 12 max

Report
SundaySimmons · 20/12/2013 14:17

Cecelia, apologies if the picture I linked to previously is not a recent one, because no way in that photo is she a size 12. More like a 16 or larger.

If she is very petite then she could take a smaller dress size, but the photo of her in the flesh shows her to be carrying a lot of excess flesh/weight.

I think she is lucky that even though she is overweight, she does go in at the waist. If she was short and barrel shaped then the clothes she wears would look awful.

I don't particularly like her or her programmes but as someone who is fairly short with big tits I'm sure I'd look absolutely vast on television. I don't think that daily fail swimsuit shot makes her look that enormous - she looks like a fairly typical slightly wobbly British woman on the beach. I think she's had three kids and she looks a similar size and shape to lots of my friends who've had 3 kids. I think most of the women over 30 presenting on TV are slimmer than is typical.

I think she looks good in that swimsuit photo - her figure has nice proportions.

The photo of her on the beach is very unflattering. Yes, as we get older or have children we may not be as slender as we we were when we were young, but having children is no excuse to remain fat. Kirstie looks awful in that picture as if she has completely let herself go.

She isn't slightly overweight or a bit wobbly, she is extremely flabby and out if shape, completely intoned.

There is no excuse doe looking like that, it's just greed and laziness in eating more than is necessary with little or no exercise, unless she is on medication or suffers depression etc which can lead or over eating or weight gain and if so, then she has my sympathies.

I would not go let my self go to looking like she does in that photo and I am a lot older than her and I don't have the incentive of being in the public eye as motivation for staying in shape.

It's not the fact she is overweight, she is flabby and untoned which is very unhealthy.

I dare say that she can spell check a lot better than me, though!

Her hair is lovely though and I like her make up and her skin care routine must be good or she is blessed with wonderful skin!

Well, I guess we'll have to disagree, Sunday. She's definitely not my idea of 'extremely flabby.'

Speaking as a former skinny minnie who is now 'flabby and untoned' but still looks alright.

She doesn't need an excuse to remain fat. It's not a crime.

And as for her greed and laziness...moral character is not written on your body. You can't tell those things about a person by looking at a photograph.

This thread is so depressing.

I think that in the beach shot she may be heavier than when I saw her but I was amazed how she looked in real life as always thought of her as more voluptuous. I am a size 12, occasionally 14 so referenced her against ny own shape.

I don't think she looks fat at all in that swimsuit photo. She is very hourglass and has lovely toned legs. She actually adds weight with her clothing choices.

Some people have issues....

Well, bully for you SundaySimmons; is it not a bit windy on your lofty pedestal Hmm

I think she can be a bit too frumpy sometimes, but she has a very distinctive style which she obviously works hard at and it mostly works for her.

As others have said, this is S&B not character assassination. I hope KA is immune to internet bitching.

She has quite a flat tummy for someone who is flabby and untoned. I wish I was quite that flabby tbh!

Good Lord Sunday Simmons, have you heard yourself?Shock

Report

I have complimented her on the way she dresses as she does not look as big as she does in the flesh, therefore her dress sense, whilst not to my taste, must be good as her clothes make her look a lot slimmer than what she is.

Perhaps she wears good foundation garments as well.

I stand by my remark on her being overweight is unhealthy.

She has lovely hair, great skin, so I don't understand why she has let her figure go to pot.
