Love her clothes and hair and everything!

But not sure I could pull it off ..... or afford it!!

I am 5'2 and a 16/18 and casper pale with mid length brown hair. I just love the colours she wears and the shapes. I tend to be in black trousers and a boring top all the time.

God forbid a woman doesn't 'flatter her figure'.

I'm confused why a PP cannot separate weight and fashion sense? Weird.

Anyway, I think she's really pretty and its nice to see someone dressing away from the skinny jean sparkly top style that so many women on television seem to favour. God forbid that she shouldn't conform.

That's an old one. She's biffed out

Agree with her good use of colour and prints. She's always wearing something eye-catching. I love her vintage inspired style - brightly coloured quality coats, broaches, heels, silk scarves and usually something floral.

Agree with Greenmug - I find it a bit depressing that pp can't comment on fashion and style without also discussing whether an individual is overweight.

I found this website that has quite a few Kirstie-esque dresses for around the £50 mark.

I've never thought of her as looking over weight. But then again i assumed i was 9st stone and weighed myself yesterday and I'm 10.5!

I love people to dress exactly how they want to. To have their own style. I may not like what she's wearing but always think she carries it off. Much better than looking the same.

I think she looks great! At times she doesn't get it entirely right but that's part of her charm. No idea of how to get her style, I think a lot is how she carries it off, inner self-confidence etc etc and pots of money!

I love her distinctive style and think she looks great- and she has two small children too! Also think she is v like nigella in looks and style.

Met her at an event in the Summer - she wears Tucker and Samantha Sung and exclusively dresses these days [apart from skiing]. She was asked about her clothes and personal style and spoke for quite a bit about only wearing dresses these days - apart from skiing!
XXL in Tucker is a 16
and XL in Samantha Sung is a 14
[and those are measurements from designer labels so likely to be on the smaller size for the clothes size iyswim]
She looked a normal healthy size to me.

In Goodhouskeeping this month she was going on about Goat dresses.

I would recommend twentiethcentury foxy and Tara starlet. Love her short dark nails and statement ring sometimes think her skirts are too flarey

I read an article once where she said she was s 12 have no idea what size in real life but ..meh

If I was her size I would be distraught. I am super vain though and accept that is a failing Sad

Mind you, I do like that she had massive babies. All the best peeps have them Wink

I am not a fan of her politics or he slavish devotion to the property market

I think I can judge her on that

But BOO to the weight comments. I think she dresses very well, very groomed & feminine and I really like seeing an attractive woman on TV who can obviously eat a slice of cake without having a breakdown.

Can I just say that the Gogglebox reaction to her show last night had us all howling like wolves with laughter.

The pants. The tie dye pants. They looked like she had forgotten to put in a tampon.

She is Woman shaped. She wears feminine clothes. She is well groomed. As others have said OP , look to the 1950s for inspiration.

Mrs BennetsEldest - women come in all shapes and sizes you know.

For crying out loud, the poor OP already stated that she is 5'2" and a size 16/18 herself. She was asking for style advice on how to dress like someone she admires and finds attractive and all you lot have done is bang on about how fat KA is! Well the OP wasn't seeking opinions on whether or not KA is too fat to be allowed on the telly - she just wanted to know how to dress like her. Sheesh. Hmm

My point being that you've probably made her feel a bit shit about herself.

MrsBennetsEldest · 19/12/2013 12:29

Dexter, that was exactly my point...

Ok I just didn't get it as all women are woman shaped!

UKIP do shoulder bags, fridge? God almighty.

Would be a fun jape to scrawl 'I HATE' above the logo or 'SUCK' under it on all the bags you saw in permanent marker, though. Grin

I think Kirsty looks great, she's very pretty and always in flattering clothes. I think some women are so brainwashed they just can't accept that an overweight woman (not that I would call Kirsty overweight) could ever look good. Also, find it irritating that someone of Kirsty's size is automatically accused of being unhealthy, How could you possibly know? there is plenty of research to show slightly overweight people live longer.
