best lip balm?

Really dry lips at the moment! Vaseline just doesn't seem to be cutting it - I apply it constantly throughout the day. Does anyone have a good lip balm recommendation?

Carmex

BillyBanter · 28/11/2013 06:16

Holly, they did at some point.

Burts bees.

CavemanDaveIsVeryBrave · 28/11/2013 06:25

Blistex for sure. Works overnight.

MrsHoratioNelson · 28/11/2013 06:49

Burts bees - following a recommendation here. I don't find the pomegranate one sticky.

smilerc · 28/11/2013 06:55

I second nuxe reve de miel lip balm. Amazing stuff!

BikeRunSki · 28/11/2013 06:57

Burt's bees

Optimist1 · 28/11/2013 06:58

Carmex for me.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 28/11/2013 07:09

Carmex

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 28/11/2013 07:12

Had high expectations of burt's bees and was a bit disappointed, but I love Nivea lip butter. The macadamia and vanilla one is like having a kinder bueno smeared on your lips. Which I like.

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 28/11/2013 07:22

Burts Bees - currently have a yummy mango one and then for treat time Lush Whipstick.....it's chocolate orange. MMMMM!!!

Branleuse · 28/11/2013 07:24

i like the 8 hour lipbalm stick. or even just the 8 hour cream itself on my lips, or if i get cracked nose

Meglet · 28/11/2013 09:04

Has anyone tried EOS (the ball shaped balm) yet?

CecyHall · 28/11/2013 09:07

Maybellines Baby Lips are the best for me, cannot get on with others at all.

womma · 28/11/2013 09:07

Loving Lanolips at the mo

Eliza22 · 28/11/2013 09:08

Carmex. That is all.

CoffeeQueen187 · 28/11/2013 09:09

Eos spheres are amazing!

TheSmallPrint · 28/11/2013 09:14

Vaseline lip therapy can not be beaten. Especially the aloe vera one.

Dumpylump · 28/11/2013 09:17

Carmex here too, and I've tried them all!

MadameOvary · 28/11/2013 09:26

Lucas Papaw ointment is great - do Boots do it now? It's great all - purpose cream and tastes lovely.
I have tried them all - Creme De La Mer, Clinique, Kiehl's, Carmex, Baume De Rose (not impressed) Ren, Nuxe, Vaseline etc etc but the best one for me was one I made myself with shea butter and coconut oil - just two ingredients - easy and cheap

JoanRanger · 28/11/2013 09:27

I never "got" the whole Carmex thing till I read the ingredients list and saw it contained salicylic acid – ie a gentle exfoliant. I'd been using other lip balms that left me with masses of dead lip skin which is, ta da! magically not there when you use Carmex, thanks to the salicylic acid.

42notTrendy · 28/11/2013 09:32

I've got the nuxe one right now. It's nothing special for me. The blister one in a white tube is good, but palmers cocoa butter do a lip balm which I reAlly think is the best.

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 28/11/2013 09:38

Using anything containing petroleum jelly such as carmex or vaseline continuously will only dry your lips out more and make them even worse. Butts bees is good.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/11/2013 09:39

Hemp lip balm from the Body Shop.

fieldfare · 28/11/2013 09:46

Claris lip perfector, it's got cocoa butter in and smells like cake :)

Sakathu · 28/11/2013 10:03

Carmex.
