grumpy I love barn conversions as well. There are some lovely looking ones here (only seen the outside, never been inside) as there are a lot of barns as this used to be (and still is to a certain extent ) a rural area.

liberty great boots! And was it you who asked about the 5:2 diet? I am still doing it and it works for me. The fast days are not too bad and even on non fast days I am more aware of what I eat. So I will have a slice of cake, but then I will only have one glass of wine in the evening.

Wearing my Topshop grey skinnies today after washing them for the first time. I can just fit in them but they must have shrunk a bit.

I'm wearing them with an old white pintuck shirt, my bikers and the Becksondergaard scarf with the birds.

Good news - the Outnet order has despatched. Not sure if these will work. I'm usually a 30, tried a 30 and a 31 in other coated skinnies with no success (no stretch) so have ordered 32s…… we'll see.

I've been suffering horrendous pain for the last couple of days,but it was really unbearable yesterday,so went to the dr,and did a bunch of tests, bloody UTI sorry if its a no go to topic on MNV,I'm feeling a bit better today,but i still get these stabs of pain.

linus I have about 3 equipment shirts,and I wear the white one the most, I wear it with leather pants,boyfriends..etc, they are perfect for a causal chic look,with high heels,clutch..etc,I don't wear many skirts,but it will look good with maybe a printed one? They will look good with your jimmy choo boots,maybe a knitted scarf,and skinnes for acusual day look, they are very versatile ,and seasonless

sleep the photo ready looks really good,I'm very tempted,and shopbop are having some codes going on,will think it over.

I love barn conversions, dh's dream is to own an ancient stone one in the middle of nowhere, and have the interior done in contemporary design, with metal staircase,wooden floors,and huge floor to ceiling windows,

I have the MNV orange sweat on today, cheering me up in this dark weather. am settling into life in my kitchen nicely, spending time lying on the sofa drinking tea and reading. loving the quiet.

DH called from hong kong to ask what 8 hr cream product I want and to tell me about a funny conversation with a SA when he was asking if they stock diptyque perfume and she thought he was saying 'dipstick perfume'. lol

turq what do the other mums wear on school nights out? I find midweek the ones I go out with don't dress up too much. I usually wear straight leg jeans, boots and a blouse or my sequinned jumper.

grumpy we've been in our house 3 and a half years and still have sooo much to do. The wallpaper is actually beginning to peel off in the living room. I'm so when people come round. There's always been necessities to pay for though (eg damp, electrics and now the boiler) that there's not a lot of spare cash for decorating although obv there'd be more if I stopped buying clothes. Also whilst the kids treat it as a zoo I'm loathe to spend 100s on new walls/carpet etc.

turq I'd probably wear a miniskirt, opaques, ankle boots and thin jumper. or skinnies, heels and a sparkly top if it's close to christmas!

Treated myself to a bit of make up, nothing flashy, just Rimmel stuff but got the Kate Moss lipstick in 01 and the Double Decker nail polish. I may also have bought the purple glittery nail polish because, well, PURPLE SPARKLES!!

I tried on some J brand skinnies today just to see what size I am and I was ok in a 29 but they were a bit baggy at the legs so maybe I could fit in a 28. (Didn't have a pair to try on)

They were not the 811 photo ready ones unfortunately but the mid-rise super skinnies. But I should really wait until I have reached my target weight to treat myself to a pair. Unless I find a great bargain. ;-)

I also tried on this jumper and whilst I looked nice in it I think the Alpaca would drive me nuts.

I wore it over the black J Brands and even after a few minutes the black jeans were full of white fluff.
