I need your help ladies. I am out for dinner on Friday night with new friends. Going to a nice restaurant. I know her but our DH's have never met. What to wear? I need to look well dressed but not overdressed. Was thinking about a dress but I don't have many and am always more confident in trousers...... I have some coated skinnies and a nice tux style jacket..... Aaaarggghh help! All these clothes and still the fear of nothing to wear.

There are serious gaps in my going out wardrobe...... ( because I don't go out)

shop if your new coast sequinned top arrives why don't you wear that with coated skinnies? tux style blazer? Would look fab....heels of course. V tempted by that top.

Missed the massimo dutti coat delivery.......have left note, safe place "guinea pig hutch"!!!!!!! ......2x camel coats in my g pig hutch !!!!!!!

In that case wear something you feel confident in. There's nothing worse than spending an evening in an outfit you thought was appropriate for the event/people but just not really you and spending the whole night wishing you'd worn something else. I've been there. Much happier when I dress like me

shop what about one if your whistles dresses. Or one of your a&w shirts with coated jeans/ skinnies, heels and a fab bag will look dressed but not over dressed.
