anni I would definitely go with your dh to talk to your consultant and talk through the risks/complications as that may make up your mind for you by reassuring you or by deciding it's too much risk.

Annianni · 21/11/2013 11:05

Dh just nipped home from work to check up on me
He feels awful but has said it's not just the money side, he's worried about my health (my back's buggered from the spd) so maybe a visit to the consultant is a good idea either way.

I was working when we met, and we went away for nice weekends, and he was constantly buying me Tiffanys.
And he said he'd like to be able to do it again.
I've said I've got enough jewellery (sorry Novice) :o
And I'm not bothered about going away at the moment!

Anyway...
Ds2 wants to make a birthday cake, he says it's his birthday and mine too :o
It's not... But we'll go for ingredients and it'll keep my mind off things

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2013 11:11

Anni yes a good idea to go, the more information you have the better.

I don't own any Tiffany jewellery (shock face). Am I the only one?

OneLittleLady · 21/11/2013 11:22

No Tiffany here either Marsha that said, I don't much jewellery at all really Shock

shopafrolic · 21/11/2013 11:42

Anni your DH sounds lovely
Marsha I have one Tiffany bracelet which I was bought by an agency as a corporate gift, and a glass Tiffany box - again a corporate gift. Nothing from ex partners or DH

AmberNectarine · 21/11/2013 11:51

I have a Tiffany locket that DH bought me. I don't love it, but he chose it all by himself so I occasionally wear it.

I like quirky jewellery (Alex Monroe prawn necklace, Mulberry fox head necklace, the spider bracelet I pinned). I don't really 'do' classic. As I teen I went through a phase of wearing one long earring - was always something like the Eiffel Tower or a glow in the dark skeleton.

shopafrolic · 21/11/2013 11:53

I did that Amber I had an asymmetric haircut - shaved one side, to my chin the other, and had a longer earring on the shaved side.

BrandyAlexander · 21/11/2013 12:03

Morning Voguettes! Just lost a post, bugger! Summary was hugs for Anni, I understand wanting a 3rd dc, I have 2. I think I have 10 Tiffany pieces of bling, all presents from dh. I went to J crew. They have a sale on. I got a sweater, pair of jeans and 2 long tees for about £90.Shock Will link later!

OneLittleLady · 21/11/2013 12:10

Wearing quite ridiculous earrings today, they are so long they touch my collar bone! They don't go with my clothes at all but I love them Grin

QueenCadbury · 21/11/2013 12:30

I LOVE tiffanys. When I received that first little blue box I was in heaven! I think I have about 8 pieces.

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2013 12:55

I think it's really you QueenC and Novice, delicate and classic.

Shop how lucky is that! I was on the wrong side. I also did that haircut, I my rebellious youth Wink, how funny.

I've got to get to J Crew then! I should work now, but I could go in quickly what to do.

I just went for a run in dh's boyfriend cardigan and shorts, I'm all about the style.

Annianni · 21/11/2013 13:16

I sound like a complete tosser, complaining about being bought jewellery Blush :o

I have 11 blue boxes upstairs, plus there were a couple of things I didn't get boxes for Blush

My house now smells of vanilla sponge cake

'me want happy birthday cake NOW!' (ds)

Only got one bloody 8" cake tin, so I have to make it in 2 halves.
Ds2 is not impressed! :o

OneLittleLady · 21/11/2013 13:19

Jesus, I'm running about hiding all my tablets/medications/medical paraphernalia as I have children visiting this afternoon and there is SO MUCH OF IT! I think i need to get a lock box to keep it all in, there's a lot of stuff that could really mess someone up if they took it Hmm

Annianni · 21/11/2013 13:20

I had a wonky hairstyle too.
Also worn with ridiculous earrings...

and Joe Bloggs jeans

OneLittleLady · 21/11/2013 13:25

I had a shit haircut and a pair of black boots with Cnt, dumb and fck written on them in nail polish Blush

Annianni · 21/11/2013 13:26

:o :o :o

santamarianovella · 21/11/2013 13:26

I have no Tiffanys! So I will join one and marsha in the sans blue box bench.

Big hugs to ani it sounds that you have terrible pain during and after your pregnancies,I think its best to see a good consultant, and see what advice they can offer you, but don't think any negative thoughts, like what if ,or is it late,or anything of that sort,it will consume you. For now enjoy your time with your family.

I want another dc soon, but like you, we would need to move to a four bedroom house,it means a big move for us,as the properties prices are astronomical in our area,so we are looking at other properties in other areas ,but everything is so expensive,
And just like you ,another dc will have to be delivered via c-sec,DH was not around when I went to labour,it was an emergency ,so I'm really scared of going through it alone! So I think we will give it a rest for another year! My hands are full with dd and dss!

[waves] Hi Voguettes, just wanted to pop on to say I've now had my colours done, have come out as an (unexpected) winter. The good news is I clearly was favouring a lot of the right colours already (bright whites, greys largely), and am soon to start on the hunt for the right kind of jewel colours to add to the collection. Seems a bit close to Xmas (and the sales) to start buying clothes, but I might pop into Gap and get a couple of jumpers if anything's good to bolster my jumper collection.

Would really like a good quality, relatively slim-fitting but not tight crew neck pale grey jumper for work. I've got a couple of sloppier ones for weekends, but think it would be the perfect addition to my new winter jewel wardrobe (buying the BRIGHT colours will take me a bit of time, and may start with scarves...).

carrie74 · 21/11/2013 13:36

I have one thing from Tiffany's - a Keyring that an old (horrible) boss bought for me one Xmas. We never got on, but I have to hand it her - it's been an excellent purchase, and I'm still using it...12 years later.

BrandyAlexander · 21/11/2013 13:51

Marsha, I am wearing my tanzanite ring this week, it might be classic but it isn't delicateGrinGrin otherwise you're right tiffany is totally me. Don't rush out to j crew, don't forget I am still in the US so it's just a US in store sale! There was some lovely stuff this season that made me think of Dry (chunky jewelry) and a gorgeous coat that made me think of Anni. The US are beginning to gear up for the holiday season, all very red and Christmassy already!

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2013 14:09

Oh yes Novice so you are! I may be crossing to Liberty right now Grin

shopafrolic · 21/11/2013 14:14

Bugger Novice I'd have sent you jumper hunting if I'd known Grin
OOO - have fun Marsha

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2013 14:16

Hi Carrie great to see you. Lots of winters here!

Santa I can imagine property where you are is off the scale. Did you order the Lanvin? I just remembered I have to double check the size, I'm pretty sure it's a 40, but need to look.

Drywhiteplease · 21/11/2013 14:49

Hello everyone Grin my week of exchange student hell continues didn't bore you with it earlier but I can't wait until it's over.

Anni what a dilemma and what a lot of wonderful women you all are.
I agree that you know when you've had enough children.
I also agree that you really need to ask about the health thing, then weigh up whether you are prepared to go through that again.
Finances.....well, my father once said that if they'd waited until they could afford to have us then it would never have happened. Yes, you need space for an extra child that's true, all the other stuff is just stuff iykwim. We've had our home for 14 years and are only now, finally making it perfect.
My only advice is regrets are horrible to live with.
Your DH sounds amazing....
I really hope I've helped Smile

I don't have any Tiffany stuff. I actually "only" have the jewellery I wear every day I'm dripping in the stuff Wink and one piece that DH chose for me that I never wear Sad

Yay carrie is back! I think you should wait till the sales start,

novice the US do sales much earlier than here! And £90 is a good bargain for j.crew.

marsha yes I did order them,I hope I should get them tomorrow! Will be devastated if the Delivery guy comes during SR As the helper comes around 9. And you are right, we could never get a bigger house at our area,we were really lucky in getting our house at a "good" price,it was awful! It had good features but it needed a lot of work, and very dated decor think gold and red combo!it was on the market for over 2 years, and the seller was desperate to sell.we ,spent a fortune updating it,and now it looks amazing, the funny thing is we have a buyer, but we still can't find a house yet! We start looking again in January.
Omg I sound really spoiled and vain Blush.
