Present Miss Brady ! Grin

now feeling a bit guilty about my scarf Sad

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 20/11/2013 19:21

For a minute there I wondered where the present was Grin

Then I got it! Grin

Drywhiteplease · 20/11/2013 19:23

Foxy my advice would be to keep it. You love everything about it but the price that you were ok with until you received the bag. I think, from experience, if you see something you truly love then nothing will match up to it in future and you'll always regret not keeping it. I would just be really really good for a few months to assuage the unnecessary guilt. Think CPW ....from what you say it sounds as if you'll wear it a lot.
Keep it

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 20/11/2013 19:25

Yes I agree. If you love it and it makes you feel happy to have it then it's a good thing.

LinusDKD · 20/11/2013 19:31

Keep it foxy

I still want the mini but I would have to be sure the blue is cobalt enough.

shopafrolic · 20/11/2013 19:38

My Dad was knocked off his bike when we were tiny kids. Just horrible. Sorry to hear that QueenC
Foxy you sound as though you love it. Keep it.
Why guilty about the scarf Dry
Right, pilates again on Physio's orders. Wish me luck

santamarianovella · 20/11/2013 19:42

foxy I agree with dry,if you really love it,then keep it,don't feel guilty, its better to get one item you love and can wear a lot, then something that will do,but not %100 happy with Smile

liberty welcome back!

ani I'm broody too!

shop your house sounds lovely,

turq I really love the bag,I have no experience with Sophie H bags,I think amber has one,

queen that's terrible!

one I wanted to say well done on the weight loss! What an amazing change! Keep it up!

Did any of you try the Charlotte tilbury makeup? I bought the eye shadow and foundation, and I'm really disappointed! The eye shadows are really awful! I really wanted to like them after all the hype,

RubyLovesShopping · 20/11/2013 19:51

Foxy I agree with everyone who has said if you love it then keep it and use it, a lot. Think if the f&b boots and how cpw has made them justifiable.
Turq the skirt I pinned now has another 20% off making it £28.
Anni I am too, I think it is on my 'to do' list for 2014 before time runs out. No guarantees though and will accept it if it is not to be.
Having an eBay frenzy of things that will never be worn again, decided on a 99p start on everything and am doing amazingly with that.

foxysocks · 20/11/2013 19:57

dry! please do NOT feel guilty, it's a beaut and suits you so well. my morals are terribly fickle, if I saw something I wanted enough you can bet I would go for it Smile

thanks everyone. am going to sleep on it for now. DH back in a week and I have 30 days to decide whether or not to keep, so I can always wait and show him.

LinusDKD · 20/11/2013 19:58

anni I get a bit broody as well sometimes but DH not at all so we decided to have 'the conversation' at the beginning of next year.

santa I have been tempted to try some C. Tilbury make-up but have been waiting to see if bloggers rate it or not. How dissapointing!

foxysocks · 20/11/2013 20:08

anni we could do with a MNV baby. like a mascot! go on Wink

massive hugs to king and queenc. we have also had a few pieces of shocking news recently, will share on sat night as not my story to tell on the internet. still feel [upset] though, it actually spurred me on to buy the bag, we must enjoy the time we have.

foxysocks · 20/11/2013 20:09

linus it's cobalt but not bright cobalt. if that makes sense?

Drywhiteplease · 20/11/2013 20:10

SNOW ! SNOW!

I've just driven in SNOW! Grin didn't settle though Christmas is coming .

Shop have you fiddled with your scarf yet?

QueenC so sorry to hear your tragic news. DH is all for dcs getting on their bikes, I'm terrified.

OP posts:
Annianni · 20/11/2013 20:18

Ok broody ones... how old are you and how many dc's do you have?

I'm 41 and I have a couple of medical problems which won't help but I do seem to get knocked up very easily :o

I got upset on Monday about it and told dh.
But I suspect I was ovulating.

LinusDKD · 20/11/2013 20:29

Piccies shop! Grin

dry this morning I saw the first cars with snow on their roofs and bonnets. They must have come from the Jura mountains nearby as we haven't had any snow here yet.

anni I am 38 and have two children. It took us 4 years (and one ectopic pregnancy and one miscariage) to have DS.

We had made an appointment to discuss AI/IVF after having every test under the sun but he was conceived during the last cycle we were going to try 'the oldfashioned way'

DD was conceived after just three 'attempts' Shock

libertychick · 20/11/2013 20:35

Thanks for all the welcome home messages. I am in bed sulking with a cup of peppermint tea as DH and I have had a really petty squabble. Typical 'back home from hols' blues.

Anni I am permanently broody Grin am 40, 1 DD, practically no chance of conceiving unless I can find the £11k the set of treatments recommended by the consultant will cost. Happy to experience pregnancy vicariously though - in the interests of balance though didn't you say before that you had a very tough birth with DS2?

libertychick · 20/11/2013 20:37

Horrible news QueenC. Hope you and your DH are ok.

MarshaBrady · 20/11/2013 20:47

I met my friend's cutest completely adorable baby twins yesterday

Lol at mascot. Which reminds me Umlauf is all ok?

Drywhiteplease · 20/11/2013 20:50

liberty welcome back! we've missed you! Did you go on the camel ride from hell?

OP posts:
libertychick · 20/11/2013 21:01

Thanks Dry I didn't go camel riding! But I have done it before and quite enjoyed it - was in Australia about 12 years ago.

Marsha did I see upthread you are buying a new dress for Christmas? What about this one? It's very sparkly!!! But I think it would look fab on you.

MarshaBrady · 20/11/2013 21:07

Liberty that is so pretty! I'm not sure I can do full steam ahead prettiness. I'd have to try it on I think. But it is gorgeous, thank you!

OneLittleLady · 20/11/2013 21:09

Anni I get a bit broody sometimes but I can't have any more children, the risks are too great Sad it's really hard at the minute as almost everyone I know is either pregnant or has a newborn and they all seem to be girls. I mother my cat instead Sad Grin

AmberNectarine · 20/11/2013 21:10

Pashli news - large size is too big. Am trying to exchange for the medium!

santamarianovella · 20/11/2013 21:12

linus poor you,it must have been difficult!
I too was waiting for reviews for the Charlotte tilbury makeup, but stupidly I went and bought it,the eyeshadow is really awful,it does not blend! And super expensive for. 4 color! I rate the urban decay naked as much better and superior and it is cheaper,I will give it to one of my friends to try

ani I'm 30,and I have one dd, we had no trouble with conceiving her, actually I was really shocked to find out I was pregnant,as DH was very busy,he had three trips that month and I remember only DTD very early,I think right after my period, and then much later on,like a few days before I was supposed to get mine,so either I ovulated early or DH has really super long lasting swimmers Blush but the only thing I dread is the headaches! I remember getting really tired at the office I could barely talk, like I had a never ending hangover! I hope I don't experience it again.

santamarianovella · 20/11/2013 21:17

amber tell us more!
