I'm the two little girls with the pussycats.

QueenQueenie · 09/12/2013 20:39

I'm a little black pug puppy with a sticking out tongue...

motherinferior · 09/12/2013 20:45

Bunch of utter babes, innit.

herbaceous · 09/12/2013 21:09

beachyhead · 09/12/2013 22:17

I am wearing a grey jumper and am sitting by a telescope Grin

MrsSchadenfreude · 09/12/2013 22:20

Fabulous dress, Herbs. Xmas Envy

lalsy · 09/12/2013 23:07

You all sound like you are practising your vocab!

CointreauVersial · 09/12/2013 23:41

And I'm the one who's not on FB! Grin Work of the devil.......

motherinferior · 10/12/2013 08:32

I am the one who got a (corporation) tax bill today. Plus accountant bill.

And I am the one who is utterly flattened and wondering how the Eff I am going to pay this....

bigTillyMintspie · 10/12/2013 08:54

Hope you found them all, addle!

Oh dear, MI.

DS has gone off to school in his own clothes as they are off on a trip to London Zoo! I am a bit worried that he should be wearing uniform....

motherinferior · 10/12/2013 09:25

Is he wearing a gorilla suit, BTM?

DD1 went to UCL with the school science nerds club yesterday. Apparently they were firmly indoctrinated with "well, as the scientists of tomorrow" and "when you come here" Wink.

wilbur · 10/12/2013 09:35

Oh MI - that's a grim postal delivery. Dh is expecting a massive tax bill in Jan as we have to pay back our Child Benefit - onion soup and porridge for whole of 2014, I think. On top of which I just got an £885 water bill - we have a leak somewhere. If it's in the pipe before it reached the house, Thames Water pays, if it's in/under the house (which I suspect it is) we pay. Sad

Re FB - I am going to look for the rest of you as I only found a few when I last tried. If you're looking for me, I am a pair of feet watching someone on a stage.

Addle, have just PM'd you, thanks so much for your top tip.

wilbur · 10/12/2013 09:44

Have just sent FB requests to crepeys, I hope Grin. Beachy - couldn't find you, will look again later.

lalsy · 10/12/2013 10:49

Wilbur, something like that came up when we had an extension built and it transpired that even though the sewage pipe in our case was under our house or even in our garden, it did serve other properties (one I think) and this seemed to put it in a grey area and we ended up not paying. Sorry, that is terribly vague, but might be worth googling if you have not done so? I got they impression TW were implying it was a hard and fast rule and in fact it wasn't.

Bad luck MI.

We have just received our annual Christmas letter from a relative, which is disappointingly normal and well written. The sheer delight it usually brings is what gets me feeling festive.

bigTillyMintspie · 10/12/2013 11:15

DS is not dressed as a gorilla. But what a shame they didn't all go in animal onesies!

herbaceous · 10/12/2013 12:01

OMG. Have just returned from DS's nativity play. It was totally brilliant. All 170 children were amazingly well-behaved. DS was one of nine 'speakers', and said his lines with such clarity and loudness to a huge hall of people that I nearly burst with pride. The moment I spotted him as I sat down I started to cry, and didn't really stop. Bit embarrassing, as I was in the front row.

addle · 10/12/2013 12:11

Thank you everyone.

Sounds lovely Herbs and massive step up from nativity Lalsy and I were remembering, not fondly, which focussed on alcoholism, homelessness and asbos as performed by years 5 and 6.

QueenQueenie · 10/12/2013 12:52

Ok. Addle, Wilbur, which of you is "V" and which is "J"? ?easily confused?

addle · 10/12/2013 12:55

addle = j

bigTillyMintspie · 10/12/2013 13:04

HerbsFlowers for your DS - I so miss the Nativity plays.

Addle, sounds like a very "worthy" production!

We have our talent show this afternoonSmile

CointreauVersial · 10/12/2013 13:05

LOL at gorilla outfit at the zoo. That reminds me of a hilarious thread on here a while back, where the OP was wondering what to wear for a trip to the zoo. The initial responses were sensible, but then it quickly degenerated. The funniest suggestion was to borrow Lady Gaga's meat dress, which would "perk the lions up no end" Grin

Herbs - lovely "proud mummy" moment!

MI, Wilbur - bummer about pre-Christmas bills. Wilbur - I stopped my CB straight away last year so we wouldn't have to pay it back; with 3DCs it left a surprisingly big hole in our finances.

bigTillyMintspie · 10/12/2013 13:06

Yes, DH did the same with oursShock

motherinferior · 10/12/2013 13:33

Ours too.

I am a bag of nerves atm. Really not in madly good way.
