Large tan handbag... Again

I need something large (A4 notebook large), leather, shoulder, under £200 and tan, or at least partly tan.

ALL ideas gratefully received- have grown sick of trying to find one!

Haha, so are you going for a Newbridge too dingdong?

House, I reckon the honey (if the main if shows the true colour) is by far and away the best; I dislike black and brown bags anyway, and the green is not reduced.

Not sure - would love to see them in RL. It's SIL's Christmas present to me so going to let her see them tomorrow before I chose..have you ordered yet?

Yup, ordered the Newbridge.

Am still looking longingly at the Taplow though. Not as keen on the colour, but love the 70s feel to it.

Just seen the Newbridge in real life and think it's too small for A4 papers! Back to drawing board for me.

the radley sale ones look fab. I have a Grosvenor but it is huge, very heavy even when empty too. But extremely practical. I change my bags all the time, I need one to hold an ipad or netbook plus paper wallet and few pens, phone purse etc for work, then for college needs to hold textbooks and notebook, pens plus phone, purse keys etc. the Grosvenor is more than capable of all of that.

I recenty brought a Michael kors jetset chain tote for my college bag and I do like it but im not so sure about the gold effect chain handle, so its still sat in all its lovely Selfridges packaging. I've now ordered two radley bags as the MK is still not quite right, I am worried that they will be heavy though as radley bags tend to be on the heavy stiffer side.

So, the Newbridge arrived and turkeyboots is right, it was way too small so had to go back :-(

I'm thinking the taplow might be the same size?

Mind you, the leather on the Newbridge looked a lot cheaper than on the picture, so am not full of hope for the taplow anyway...

is there room on that drawing board for me, turkeyboots?

I'll budge up! I thought it didn't look as good in real life too, but thought if that was because I was getting the evil eye from the shop staff for taking all the paper stuffing out.

I've seen a Cath Kidston business bag which is the perfect size and has the right pockets. But it's a flowery Cath Kidston bag and not want I want at all.

Trust me, you want the Joules Richmond leather tote in Tan (although it's really a shoulder bag, handles are really long). V soft leather that ages. Massive for ipad, a4 folder, loads of,pockets, fits loads in. I've been looking for this bag for years. I can't like to it, it just brings up the homepage, sorry.

Thanks for those Sunday, but they're not grabbing me. I want a bag which hangs on my shoulder and tucks under my arm, and I think the straps on toes are either too long or too short.

Duckyfuzz, that one is ok, but I'd prefer one which closes at the top and I think the straps would be too short on that one too

Gene, I'm not keen on that one, sorry- it's too pale and boxy.

I do really appreciate all the suggestions though Smile
