Queen At a W/R once we were all standing by the patients bed and the Medical consultant asked me if I was a student nurse. I replied in the affirmative and he turned to his little audience and said " I've always said, Why have a wank when you can have a nurse?"
To which i replied "You look like an accomplished Wanker yourself" . Only I made sure that only he and the juniors next to him heard my retort. He made sure the patient heard. I got admonished until i said I'd report him. Then they backed off.
YY to junior Dr's/STN's. They'd have thongs poking out (when it was fashionable) or they'd be too low cut especially when leaning over patients. I have suggested wearing less potent perfume too as it can be very nausea inducing when you feel ill.
I can't click on those links Queen as i have 'Tea and Kittens' come up whenever I click on the DM and I don't know how to disable it! Are there other sites w/ the links?
Doesn't Arizona look lovely here in her plaid coat? I like this look too for evening. it's not me, I'm not a sleek person but i greatly admire Women who can pull this off. This is more me. I have a skirt like this.
I have seen loads of old skool Country Casual 'older Shires lady' BlackWatch check midi skirts, pleated from the waist in a bell shape online in style blogs. You know the style, worn in the Countryside w/ a Husky bodywarmer, stout laced shoes. The Barbara Woodhouse/Queen county look. They look great w/ a toughed up T shirt/sweater (maybe textural), woolly tights or fishnets, brogues, Monkstraps or high heeled pointy stiletto's. I think hair style is key w/ this look- a messy pony, bun or messy loose.
