sorry - in order they go hair today - hair before - hair today - hair before Grin]!

santamarianovella · 04/09/2013 22:30

queen oh, no i didnt think that, its that at our school, and im sure other school around the country, its like no matter what you wear you get judged ,it can be tricky, you can never just be yourself,a couple mums were really bitchy last year, just by commenting on what i wear,be it gym gear or casual jeans and a tee. what made me Shock, is that they would say dont get offended we are just kidding and smile!

MarshaBrady · 04/09/2013 22:31

Sleep I really like it. It looks lovely. It looked fabulous before, but it looks ace now. Btw your pics of your dc are so gorgeous.

Drywhiteplease · 04/09/2013 22:34

That's nasty Santa hate insults veiled as jokes.poor you. Anyway they were just jealous.

OneLittleLady · 04/09/2013 22:34

I like it too sleep though if you really can't bear it after a week, go back and change it. No sense keeping it like that if you really don't like it

Drywhiteplease · 04/09/2013 22:37

sleep it doesn't look much different to me and I have my glasses on you look beautiful in all the pics, love the windswept with dcs and am still Envy that fab. (ash?) red asymmetric dress. Was expecting it really dark.

santamarianovella · 04/09/2013 22:37

sleep your husband is soooo wrong!your hair looks gorgeous in all pics,

MarshaBrady · 04/09/2013 22:38

And yes it is quite close to before. I know things can feel really different when it gets to hair. I was soo upset when I went a little bit too short.

Annianni · 04/09/2013 22:42

Is the car shot hair today?
If yes, then I love it, it looks fab.

Drywhiteplease · 04/09/2013 22:42

Amber are you coming to the Oct meet up? It would be nice to meet you.
Mig where are you?

Annianni · 04/09/2013 22:43

I thought it was going to be much darker than that.

AmberNectarine · 04/09/2013 22:52

Mine aren't at school yet and nursery mums vary enormously, but in the area I live it seems to be tunics, legging and fitflops/chunky boots varying by season. All very practical. They probably thought I was a right dick turning up at toddler group in leather skinnies.

Sleepwhenidie · 04/09/2013 22:53

Argh, it is! One more try, added one taken in the bathroom mirror, I am just off to bed...and aware that I am starting to come across as slightly psychotic Grin - repeat to self, "it is only hair, it is only hair...."

Sleepwhenidie · 04/09/2013 22:58

And thank you for the lovely compliments of course, esp for the DC's! xxxx

MarshaBrady · 04/09/2013 22:58

Oh yes darker there. I still like it. Maybe would only need a few highlights?

Oh and it's not possible to overdo thinking about hair/ style / clothes on here. It's the law of Vogue.

shopafrolic · 04/09/2013 23:03

Sleep I like it. Darker suits you, think it makes your eyes stand out more.... Will be good for AW and then can start to lighten up from the Spring again perhaps?
Lovely meal, my oldest school friend, great chat......
My hair costs over £100 a time, which is a hell of a lot considering it's short!!!!

Drywhiteplease · 04/09/2013 23:04

Sleep looks darker. Still nice though. You've got to go with whatever you feel comfortable with though....hair is important, not "just hair"!!!Shock
Amber I had imitation leather maternity straight cut jeans, I scared a lot of Mums at pre natal classes!Shock

santamarianovella · 04/09/2013 23:07

sleep honestly i see no big difference,it looks more current and up to date, very rock chic glam,it really suits you.

dry i doubt they read MNV,so will say it. i was wearing my gym clothes tank top and capri leggings, one of them said ;oh santa i didnt know you had such small boobs! are you sure mr santa is happy with those? Shock, dh work colleague was walking in front of me and obviously heard it and other parents too,i didnt know what to say, just walked, im not prudish but you dont say these kind of remarks in public,

night all!

Sleepwhenidie · 04/09/2013 23:09

Ooh, One I love that dress too (I love purple too but never wear it, who knows why). If only I had a party to go to Sad...., shall we have a MNV cocktail party one day Grin

McNally · 04/09/2013 23:09

I think the new hair looks lovely sleep. Can see the difference in the first photo particularly but gorgeous in all. And your DCs are so sweet!

That is rubbish santa though sounds a lot like the issue was with people making crappy comments rather than with anyone on the receiving end.

I don't have school or nursery run, only toddler groups, where I am usually running around trying to stop DD flinging herself off furniture to have a proper look at what people are wearing. Though on the whole, round here it is very much laid back cool, such as skinny jeans, loose bright vests, statement necklaces and lots of casual dresses, rather than anything designer (that I've identified anyway). Will be interesting to pay more attention with the weather getting cooler.

shopafrolic · 04/09/2013 23:09

Grumpy good news about the Oasis skirt - I loved your Pin of that, and there is one v similar in Whistles for over £200!! Yes, Vince sweater is fab and a definite keeper- smell has gone too! [Grin]

BrandyAlexander · 04/09/2013 23:11

Sleep, honestly? You look goddamn stunning in all of them. Including the darker hair.

SantaShock jeez! I would have swung for them!

QueenC did you pass on the cobalt blue dress? If so, pity because I thought it was cute.

Sleepwhenidie · 04/09/2013 23:11

They sound delightful Santa Hmm. I am assuming their boobs were bigger as to be in proportion with their bums or weren't entirely their own though Wink. Definitely smacks of Envy to me.

MarshaBrady · 04/09/2013 23:12

Yes to MNV cocktail party, would love that! Any excuse to dress up.

Santa what a crazily rude thing to say.

BrandyAlexander · 04/09/2013 23:12

That's cute as in gorgeous as opposed to like a cat kind of cute!!
