Hot cloth cleansers and toner

Sorry, probably been done to death but I'm thinking about using hot cloth cleansers and I see that Liz Earle sells a toner alongside her cleanser so should I be using a toner after it?

I'll likely be going for the Superdrug or No7 one rather than the Liz Earle so shall I just pick a toner that sounds like my skin?

Or is the water enough and the toner just an unnecessary addition?

I'm so confused!

It's an LE moisturiser I'm using at the moment so will try superdrug day cream afterwards & should be easy to compare.
The radiant cleanser is really nice and a bit more 'LE' as in it has a more herby smell.

I've just bought a couple of Boots Botanics hot cloth cleanser.

I've got the organic balm one, which smells amazing and the cream cleanser, which is much less creamier then Liz Earle but feels as if its doing a great job. I also got the the Botanics organic face cream, again lovely. I can't believe how cheap they are and they're organic!

I've being using LZ for about 5 years and tried lots of other things but always gone back to LZ. Never tried this range though and I'm very very impressed.

I used to love LE but the formula changed and it's not as creamy and the smell it's much stronger than it used to be.

I keep touching my face, it's so softGrin I have super sensitive skin so it's rare to find something that works!

I really wanted the Naturally Radiant one but I've noticed it has kiwi extract- I'm really allergic to eating kiwi so don't know whether to risk it as its not going in my mouth but might still be a problem.

I'll probably get the vitamin E one so glad to hear its nice too.

Could you try a bit on the inside of your elbow to see if you react?

Liz Earle breaks me out, and I find the Super Drug Vit E one drying after a few days use. Didn't like the smell of the No. 7 one and found it quite drying.

Another one to consider is Una Brennan's Superfacialist Rose Cream Cleanser which is available in Boots for £8. I really like this one.

I always use a toner afterwards. Just makes my skin feel ultra clean and soft. I like the Garnier one, or La Roche Posay.

Been using it for 3 days now - definitely leaves my skin dryer than LE straight afterwards but I have greasy skin so don't mind too much, just make sure I moisturise if not wearing a BB cream. Otherwise it seems lovely, is nice and creamy to put on, doesn't smell too strong which I like, and works brilliant at getting make up off.
Have 2 packs so I think I'm a convert, going to try vit E one when these run out.

On the back of this thread I've just bought the Superdrug vit e hot cloth cleanser as I'm getting to the end of the LE I was bought for my birthday. The Superdrug one smells so much nicer. I love coconuty anything. Felt far richer and creamier the the LE too. The LE smells like something you'd clean the bathroom with not your face. But it did do the job. Am hoping this one works as well as the price is :)

I've been using the Superdrug radiance cleanser and moisturiser for about a week now and I love it. Don't miss LE at all.

I can't believe it's a quarter of the price of LE.

Which one is best for combo skin- the vitamin E or the radiance cleanser from Superdrug? People are talking about them both as if they are the same thing and I can't keep up. Also does anybody have the full ingredients list?

I got the vit e one as the radiance one had sold out. Also noticed that it's twice the size of the Liz Earle one so megga bargainGrin

I think your best bet would be to try both and see which is best for you-even buying both its still under a tenner atm add it's on offer.

It was mentioned earlier that the vit e one is drying bit I have dry skin and find the complete opposite.

Cecy, I am allergic to eating kiwi but I have no problems with the Naturally Radiant cleanser. (you are the first person I have met apart from me with kiwi issues by the way)

The Vitamin E oil in the range is also worth a punt! I have converted a few folk in my office to the Vit E HCC and they have been really pleased with it. Whilst you are in Sperdrug today, may i also recommend the MUA eyeshadow primer. Better than Urban Decay, imo.
