Yep dry, they came up on the outnet this morning. Half price. Had seen and ordered before checking here but so lovely anyway to have people looking out for you!

Anni I got black, all sold out so fast! They seemed to have a good range of sizes so if anyone else wants them you should check for return over next week or so.

Drywhiteplease · 19/08/2013 18:13

That's amazing!

Have ordered M and S animal print slipper too...thanks for the tip off Topaz

foxysocks · 19/08/2013 18:14

OneLittleLady · 19/08/2013 18:20

Those boots are so so nice. Shame on my huge calves that they would never in a million years fit me! Especially nice that you got them half price foxy hope you love them

shopafrolic · 19/08/2013 18:20

MarshaBrady · 19/08/2013 18:28

Shop sorry missed your post! And Stalked Do you mean cropped like the MiH Paris? I just do with ballet flats. I'm ok with it, as long as top half isn't also short in any way, ie 3/4 length sleeves then I just look like I've been in a boil wash.

AmberNectarine · 19/08/2013 18:54

Really pleased foxy - I was really hoping you'd have nabbed them! Serendipity, indeed.

LinusDKD · 19/08/2013 19:01

A purple (they call it blackberry) coat for one

It's maybe not the most exciting brand around but I do like the coat, especially the back

Good Evening All- what a lot of shopping and browsing going on here. I have been uploading some photos of my garden onto Pinterest so anybody who'd like to critique my planting schemes, they are on my Planting and Garden design board.

We've decided to stay in tonight because i have managed to somehow damage my pelvis and have terrible nerve pain/muscle spasm. I fell down a step, twisted myself to stay upright and felt something jolt. So cannot stand for long and moving whilst sitting is bloody awful. Cannot take anti inflammatories either so stuffed really. Having a take out of Vietnamese and half a ton of Joe Delucci Gelato in coconut flavour. My life must seem a litany of negativity to you guys Blush.

One Purple, size: Here is a purple coat for you although the pic only shows the hot pink version. Here is another which I think is really quite striking if not any everyday goes with everything coat. This says out of stock but maybe if you like it they'd get more in eventually?

More pinky purple;

Described as purple but looks not purple in picture.
Here is a proper Purple coat by Lands End from Debenhams on sale too and Very have this purple leather parka.

Purple Joules quilted jacket.

I found a wonderful website selling book art themed T shirts for children and adults today on Dailycandy.com. It is called OutOfprintclothing.com and this was my fave kids book. I also adore Olivia, Wharton and Barbar. There are loads of different styles.

Here is some Boot eye candy for you all and I have to have these Jaeger pants in eye wincingly bright leopard print. The jacket I can take or leave though even though it seems to be 'modern' to wear vivid prints as a pant suit.

OneLittleLady · 19/08/2013 20:45

I like the Simply Be one Mig and we happen to have a Simply Be store in town so I can see if they have any in stock there Smile

Oh poor you Mig that sounds very painful Sad don't worry about being negative, I worry about being the same but everyone seems to take it with good grace Smile

QueenCadbury · 19/08/2013 20:50

Evening all. I'm having a wonderful time in Cornwalland am pissed on prosecco. Had a great time in the rock pools earlier hunting for crabs etc. This afternoon was spent on the beach. Our purchase today? Wetsuits for the Cadbury family! Dd2 refused to try one on but as she finds the Atlantic surfing waves a little scary it saved us some cash! I could really get into the whole surfer chick look-I love it!

foxy that indeed was fate. Here's hoping that your stalker paid full whack Grin.

I can't get too excited yet about AW just yet but will do once dc go back to school. Like mrsR I'm not sure that I can do grunge as it reminds me too much of sixth form/uni days although amber was probably about 5 then Grin. I'm going to followdrys lead and try colour blocking. I know I have lots of pins of it but I've yet to try it for real and make it feel like me. Might have to start yet another pin board!

I adore 7/8 although find jeans difficult as they just look shrunk/too short on me. Love the length for black trousers though for going out.

QueenCadbury · 19/08/2013 20:52

mig hope you're ok. Can you take paracetamol or codeine ok? Enjoy the take out.

LeFreakCestChic · 19/08/2013 21:00

Dropping in quickly to say thanks for the tips and links a few pages back with what to wear with the me&em ruched dress. Have decided after wearing today that the t shirt dress doesn't go with nude micronets, actually am not sure that nude micronets (or nude tights at all) go with much. Felt daft in them all day, like people were thinking I'd stepped in onion bags Confused
Think I feel better/ less conspicuous in opaques but matching navies can e tricky. Sigh. It's hard being a chick.

mignonette · 19/08/2013 21:00

Oh Queen that does sound Enid Blyton heavenly. As for grunge making you feel ancient Queen I was 27 in 93! Your colour combination board is looking amazing too. I use it for inspiration to combine me existing clothes in fresh ways. I wish Pinterest would allow us to group pins together and/or move them about on the board after they have been pinned. It'd be useful for making outfit boards.

I'm not a 7/8 girl when it is Capri style as I don't think it suits me. I do have some cigarette leg pants that come up shorter though but that very very straight cut keeps the proportions correct. Capri pants always kick out slightly at the mod calf on me which looks odd.

Back in the mid 90's there was that 'stovepipe' pants look worn with clumpy shoes, dark socks, matching jacket or heavy wool coat with plenty of tweed and textured fabrics, dark greys, browns and black s with white or cream shirts and T's. The trousers were worn pretty short too with no break for bare leg allowed. I remember an article in US Vogue about the writer seeing this look in London when she arrived as an exchange student and goes on to describe her attempt to emulate designer with men's clothing bought from charity shops. It might have been Janine Brown who wrote it but it was a great article.

The look was Dickensian urchin meets Helmut Lang. I think the Belgian/Dutch/German designers were quite big on the style-Ann Demeulemeester, Lang, Margiela and Jil Sander. I say this because it appears to be on the way back.

shopafrolic · 19/08/2013 21:02

QueenC looking forward to seeing the holiday pics! Wink
Mig feel better soon. Can you not even get some Ibuleve gel? If not, hot and cold packs should help the spasm but then I guess you know that....... Ouch poor you

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 19/08/2013 21:04

mig it may sound Enid blyton heavenly but I don't remember George/Julian/timmy et al having huge strops like dd1 has been having today Grin. She may only be 7 but she acts 17!

MarshaBrady · 19/08/2013 21:05

Yes I can remember it first time round, and living in Melbourne where grunge has been a permanent part of the style situation. Even now when I go back everyone still has an ironic mullet or ironic cardigan. So funny.

Plus am blonde, so really it will be luxe-grunge-light. Ie blink and you'll miss it. Ie I might buy a tartan skirt.

Dh tries to burn the silly sod, but is olive too so doesn't really.

LinusDKD · 19/08/2013 21:10

Ouch mig that sounds painful. Sad
