I love the ink blue Paraty I linked on my blog but I know you have a blue Balenciaga novice. I must say I'm enjoying compiling the shortlist immensely. All the more in the wake of the bag thread. I think I shall post crowing in joy when I make the purchase :)

BrandyAlexander · 04/08/2013 21:31

Hhmm. QueenC, I was actually bemoaning the lack of a black day bag the other day. I have 2 - a Prada one and a Next one that the dcs have basically adopted as their bag when they play mummies and daddies.Hmm I do think I am missing a "green" bag and wonder whether the PS1 or Paraty should be green. Of course I had a green bag that got culled a couple of years ago. Blush

BrandyAlexander · 04/08/2013 21:34

Amber, yes I loved the one you linked too. I am going to enjoy these Sunday nights with you.Grindh may want a few words with you...!

That play suit is gorgeous. I saw a stunning woman in one last week. She looked so casual, blonde hair tied up in a pony tail, long bronzed limbs. Instant girl crush!

QueenCadbury · 04/08/2013 21:48

shop I keep finding jumpers for you. This one is unfortunately over budget...

shopafrolic · 04/08/2013 21:52

That is a beauty QueenC absolutely stunning

AmberNectarine · 04/08/2013 22:13

I need a blue bag really, I have my navy Bayswater, but it's a bit delicate for everyday hammering. I don't really have a black bag either though... I literally cannot wait for my birthday, I'm going to be like a kid in a sweet shop.

OneLittleLady · 04/08/2013 22:16

I still can't quite believe that handbag thread.....such nastiness Sad

I'm wondering what kind fo neon would be good for me, I know yellow is no good, I've never been able to wear yellow. I'm thinking pink? I'm a very very pale, blue/green eyed, brown hair with lots and lots of red in it naturally person if anyone has any ideas of what would be best?

Drywhiteplease · 04/08/2013 22:21

Amber the red Philip Lim you have on your blog is fabulous.
I'm thinking of getting a black bag for A/W....needs handles and shoulder strap option ( can't do just grab).... Does the Pashli have that option?
All ideas welcome.....am watching Amvpbers choices with interest

Drywhiteplease · 04/08/2013 22:21

Amber's !!!!

Turquoiseblue · 04/08/2013 23:19

Oh god - apologies for link fail earlier. Caught up now on all the lovely links and stories. Yikes at the handbag tread, can't believe the nastiness. Was afraid to comment. Took me 2 years to delurk to here, not sure I m able for the potential flamings! Would love to have the budget to allow me to splurge on ££££ bags - maybe in a few years, meantime I ll be happy with my mulberries and Stella's and drool at Amber's lovely links.
Have decided I need a new bag last year, love the idea of lots of compartments (adore th rides of being able to organise and have lots of areas for different bits n bobs- though it s mostly tissues, and rubbish from the dc s !) couldnt find I loved enough so will wait until I do.

Turquoiseblue · 04/08/2013 23:26

Sleepwhenidie · 05/08/2013 07:44

Morning all, I am very grumpy this morning having been woken at 6.30am by ds1 who climbed into bed between me and DH and went back to sleep, but didn't stop pushing his feet against me. So I have given up and am up while everyone else snoozes Hmm. We drove back from Cornwall late last night so everyone is very tired. I should really just go for a run now I'm up wearily contemplates rain (we are still away from home so no gym/kickboxing options available).

Love that playsuit Foxy. I also smiled in recognition at your 'no shopping on holiday' expectation. I had that too but cracked and ordered sandals and JCrew Grin

I think you definitely made the right decision on the Burberry Liberty. If you are going to get a classic it needs to be perfect!

What neon items are you considering One? It may work better in an accessory or small area such as a vest under a less bright colour top/sweater if you are concerned about whether it really suits you, that way you should be able to get away with anything?

Turquoise I loved the idea of a bag with lots of compartments too - until I got one and drove myself insane, never remembering what went where! So you may want to make sure the compartments are easily differentiated if/when you get one Grin

Here are my boots again, sorry for link fail.

QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 09:09

I'm currently looking vair stylish in Nike sweatpants and fatface sweatshirt. I just needed to throw something on quickly to take the cat to the vets for stitch removal. Now contemplating a shower and wondering what to wear. It's chilly and damp but after weeks of shorts etc I'm not sure that I can bear to go back into jeans and converse. Offer me some inspiration please....

QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 09:14

Posted too soon. I was also about to ask what footwear you are all wearing in this weather? I'm beginning to regret returning both the pink and navy flats that I bought months ago thinking that I'd never wear them whereas I'd wear them loads now. Other than that I have these converse but being canvas they're not great in a downpour.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 09:17

Apologies for yesterday's vague posts - I was a little drunk by the time we got back from the seaside Blush
I'm not sure it's inspiring QueenC but I'm in my 7FAM ripped with sequins and my Paul & Joe Sister Eagle tee
I haven't figured out what's going on my feet yet - it depends if it rains or not.
Sleep where have you headed back to then? A rental? I love those boots. I know they're probably cliched but I still love the Ash titans - I might go for the neutral colour at some point.
Loving all the bag chat on here - hating it elsewhere. Just awful. Confused

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 09:18

In the last week I've worn my M&S snakeskin flats quite a bit on iffy days QueenC

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 09:21

QueenC that Ted Baker jumper isn't chunky enough unfortunately, and I'm not great with detail like the buttons on the cuff although I appreciate that's what makes it stand out.....
Basically I now want the Gucci one and probably nothing else will do so I won't get anything Grin

QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 09:38

Sorry shop Grin!

Kick me off the thread now...I've come to the conclusion that I'm just not interested in shoes. I've just done a quick search for flat shoes and have not found anything that I really like or that look comfortable or that I'm prepared to spend money on (and break my spending ban for) Confused. Anyone else just not that into shoes or is it just me?

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 09:41

mrsR realised that I didn't respond to your link. Yep, lovely stripes but not emerald enough for me. Have you had your colours done yet? ( I think it was you getting them done wasn't it?)

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 09:42

queenCMy gazelles are working hard. Weraring them today with gap straight cut turned up, Zara floral shirt over white vest and Nancy.
For some reason I'm unable to link from Pinterest .Hmm

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 09:54

Random question.... is Belinda Wornout really an apple shape? I thought that meant your tummy is wider than your bust. She looks hourglass to me...?

Confused

libertychick · 05/08/2013 09:55

QueenC I am wearing my clarks ballet flats a lot. Very comfy - I will buy another pair in a few months. They are very comfy, I do a lot of walking with work.

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 09:55

QueenC does not compute sorry - not interested in shoes? Nope, you're speaking a different language......:)

LeFreakCestChic · 05/08/2013 10:11

Morning all, me&em delivery: this is a keeper but very unfortunately the ruched maxi dress is too big so it's going back. Its a lovely dress though.
So, now that it seems to be autumn here all of a sudden, what colour tights does one wear with navy?!

Reading that handbag thread has made me want to buy a new handbag actually. That might be my new AW purchase. And I will of course make sure it's ££££ and branded and on Wonga credit I can't afford just to keep up with the Joneses

And it reminds me of what I say to my kids- if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all.

I'm not really very good with finding/ choosing handbags. I've got the bright yellow other stories one but its way too small for all my stuff and Toddler crap I cart about. I need a bigger, more lady like one I think. Any good sites to link too? Not £££. What about peony & Moore?

Miserable day here, time to break out the cosy stuff...

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 10:18

QueenC nooooooooooo.......shoes are amazing, are you having a funny turn? Been drinking early? Summer hols getting to you? Rain? It's ok....have a lie down and a biscuit and you'll recover! Grin
