Ignore them amber if they have nothing better to do than judge someone because of a choice they make that has absolutely NO impact on them and theirs then they must be very bored Grin

Amber some odd views on that thread. Your money, you can spend it how you like. On a bag for £75 or a bag for £750. And don't feel you have to justify it either, by saying it's expected in your industry (which it might well be, I don't really care). Your money, your choice.

dry I loved your comment as I'd been thinking exactly the same thing. I just don't get what makes people think they're a better person for carrying around a bag for life or stuffing their pockets Confused

Wow, I just finished reading the handbag thread and I can't quite believe how much vitriol there is! it's really rather nasty in places

Need to check links when I get home but heading back from a fab day at Frinton on Sea. Decided against Brighton as it is Pride weekend and I don't thin my DH could face introducing DS to a load of trannies. :)
Had a lovely time and a fab Italian meal this evening, now on M25 heading home. Agree with Sleep meals are easier by the beach. I might move! Will check in later on links and the bag thread!

Hello! Not even reading bag thread, can tell its not the place to be. Am in Cornwall, no Internet and .... Or so I thought.... NO shopping. HA.

went into the teeny beachside village today and stumbled across this play suit, one left in sale in my size for a mere £30 thus solving my one pair of shorts and just out of sea dilemma in one. Highly recommend, is 100%cotton and really flattering.

Grin Dry!

Tbh, one of the reasons I now mostly hangout in style and beauty and on this thread is that I decided a few months ago that i deal with difficult people on a day to day basis in real life and coming on mumsnet and dealing with more difficult people was not relaxing. When the judgy pants are then turning up on S&B, well that's just beyond the pale.Wink I now feel the need to cleanse myself of the bitterness by buying a bag or something.Grin

My current bag front runners are this Prada, the Chloe Paraty but can't decide colour or Proenza Schouler PS1 but can't decide on colour.

sleep that biker link doesn't work can you please try and link again?

I have lusted after those Choo bikers since last year. I'm just not sure whether they would suit me as I am quite short.

That bag thread is something else. I did post my opinion but as certain people are intentionally being obtuse and are only intent on judging others, I won't bother anymore.

Love the play suit Foxy I could have done with that today!

Love that Foxy.

Beach sounds fun Shop.

That Prada is fabulous Novice but I also love the PS. PS would probably sway it for me if I had the choice!

Saw a vintage Burberry mac today at a stall at a craft fair - seller wanted £100....was tempted and DH was egging me on but decided not to get it as it was (a) very long, almost mid calf and (b) camel/beige colour which I know is the classic but that colour does nothing for me - right/wrong decision???

Marsha love the burberry you pinned - very luxe, and it would look amazing on you.

Like Foxy I am ignoring the handbag thread Smile....

Report
QueenCadbury · 04/08/2013 21:16

liberty right decision. If the colour doesn't suit you then doesn't matter how cheap it is as you'd never feel great in it. Of course you could always wear a scarf though...

novice just browsing at your bags on net a porter. Would be the ps for me me too but not sure which colour...

Oh MrsR I like your choice of necklace for me! And finally yesterday I wore the Goldsigns! It took me a while to organise taking them up. DH never notices new jeans but he eyed me suspiciously and said 'they look rather expensive' - once I reassured him about how much I spent he then declared them 'very sexy' - he also refused to believe how much they cost new so went off to goggle them and is now in shock at the price of premium denim Grin

shopafrolic · 04/08/2013 21:19

Yay for sexy jeans Liberty

libertychick · 04/08/2013 21:21

Yes I did consider a scarf QueenC but TBH one of the factors is that I would really love to own a Burberry some day and if I bought a less than perfect one it would drive me insane as then I could never justify another one - that probably sounds a bit garbled and mad....

libertychick · 04/08/2013 21:22

liberty you definately made the right decision then.

novice I'm still fantasy shopping your bags and I think my favourite is the ps in classic black.
