Ugh, why do I get drawn into those bag threads? There's always someone waiting to jump on you for having different financial priorities. Sigh.

Where's mine MrsR?

Holes on waist has been on a thread ages ago. I had this prob a while ago. Think it's the zip or button on jeans as Amber said. Annoying!

I'm with you Amber... My undies are practical and boring. Have special sets but they always ruin the line of what I'm wearing.

Blimey Amber I'd have thought someone in your 'industry' would have known to steer well clear! Grin
They've got the knives out for you haven't they? FWIW I'm with you. (I just don't dare leave the security blanket of this thread)

amber I just read that bag thread and replied and then deleted it before posting. No one should be sneery for people spending money, just as people don't expect people to be sneery for not having any.

Morning. Dc just waking up here, however we have to be firm about bed time which is always a hassle and not early. They'd love to stay up even later.

On bags, I think you either enjoy good design or not. It's just easier to be on here sometimes as you can skip so much out and assume everyone feels pretty much the same.

Linus there does seem to be a on ankle boot cartel going on. Each year it's a few of the same, and high st just seem to replicate anyway. I'd love a new something to come out, otherwise am considering the pistol ah!

Morning ladies...

That handbag thread is so sneery.
wankers

Why does Amber always get slated?
When others on the thread have mentioned nice bags, and lots of them.

Whilst browsing earlier I came across these boots. I love the cut out pattern which makes them just a bit different.

These navy ones are gorgeous too. Clarks made me laugh as they have exactly the same boots as last year but they have renamed some of them.

Haven't read bag thread as crap wi Fi as in (crap) hotel but I really hate the uppity judgemental people on some threads. Amber remember the 'buy a bench' lot last time. Why can't they just accept we all buy different stuff and get on with it. I love this thread because its simply about clothes from DP to designer, no one judges or sneers! I've been flamed a few times... So stay here now.
Will see if I can find it on phone ( and won't mention nancy!!)

OneLittleLady · 04/08/2013 10:40

The general sneery attitude is why I stick to few select threads and dip in and out of others asking for advice sometimes.

Hello all,
Quick delurk to say hi. Have had a skim read of the last vol , will try catch up properly later.
Mih Oslo s arrived www.awear.com/dresses/blue-print-jersey-dress/invt/10452679blue/?setlocn=restofworld&log=4here as did these lovelies www.donnaida.com/denim/skinny-jeans/j-brand-811-skinny-jeans-29965.htmlhere
Ohhhhh and yesterday picked up the tube skirt version of this dress www.awear.com/dresses/blue-print-jersey-dress/invt/10452679blue/?setlocn=restofworld&log=4 I quite like the print - wearing with gladiator sandals and grey t today as we hang out in the garden. Ok off to catch up

Ps - one - the jumpsuit is still the nicest option I ve seen

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't make it back yesterday, had a little too much wine with lunch Grin. Every restaurant should have a beach next to it so that dining with kids would be so much nicer Smile

I finally brought myself to order some new sandals yesterday to replace the ones that were fox-napped. I did actually prefer these but before my Ash grieving process was complete they sold out in my size. I could have them made in Greece to order by the supplier but that would end up costing £195 with delivery and take around a month so that helped me make up my mind Grin.

Got a great result on the Abbey Crouch H&M dress, of course sold out everywhere in stores but one popped up on eBay and I nabbed it quickly for original price of £30. It's a size 10 but am hoping with a belt it will be ok, otherwise I could get it altered.

Does everyone know that there's an extra 40% off sale stuff on JCrew? I ordered a few bits this morning, was mainly after a cashmere sweater for DH's birthday but a few other things slipped in for me, including this hoodie.

Who was looking for biker boots? Linus? I have worn my zadig black bikers for 3 (very long) a/winter seasons and love them, so comfy and wide enough to make legs appear slimmer IMO. When I bought them I almost went for the classic Jimmy Choo bikers, which I still covet, but the price difference - about £200 - was enough to sway me Grin.

I am going to post this in case I lose it again then all link to boots and maybe some other stuff....

bikers

Choo biker

Am going to catch up with links now.

Re the handbag thread, do you guys never learn Hmm, they only ever go one way and I agree Amber, it is tedious and predictable. Best off staying here where it's non judgemental and cosy Smile.

Re underwear, my collection was fabulous pre DC but is pretty pathetic now. I live in hankypanky thongs, so comfy and gorgeous colours, bras are a proper mishmash. I love racer back bras as I wear quite a lot of tops and dresses with racer backs, but they are hard to find. Need to up my game though. May check out the new Agent range. If money no object I would live in La Perla Grin but when it comes down to looking at those price tags there are other things I'd prefer to spend on. Changes in bra size don't help either, you are so lucky with yours Novice, since my first pregnancy, mine seems to change over time anyway Sad

Still thinking about that grey leather skirt...oh dear.

Hello all! Sorry I have been busy taking umbrage on the bag thread. QueenC, glad I made you laugh... if you ever meet me you will know I also meant every word!Grin

I would love to be able to wear La Perla, sadly they don't do my size. I never get that. They do sizes 6 and 8 in the shops. What back size do they think those same people have? Confused

Sleep that leather skirt was nice wasn't it...Wink

Oh bloody hell Novice " fuck off to the far side of fuck" LOL Grin I'm dying to use that IRL, fantastic phrase.....what would the response be?

They are really a stupid lot.
People do judge on appearances don't they? And to a greater or lesser degree we are all buying into that. My DH couldn't arrive to see clients in M and S and a clapped out beige B reg polo ( we had one years ago) no more than I would face a class in ripped jeans and flip flops.......what numpties.

Back home with wifi....yippee!

Amber and Novice I salute you for taking them on. I think I'm about to get flamed though.....couldn't help being a bit naughty. Wink

It's funny people think its ok to judge me for spending a lot on a bag. Can you imagine if I went on and said 'what? Your bag is from Primark? Urgh, what a gypo!' (NOT my opinion I hasten to add' - I'd be torn apart. Yet it's fine to say I'm stupid, vapid, vain, have poor financial judgement etc etc.
