YESSSSSSSSSS

LinusDKD · 05/08/2013 21:44

I was already sold queenc! Wink

I am soo tempted to post on the handbag thread again and mention how much the nano cost, but I don't want to be responsible for some people having an apopleptic fit.

Sleepwhenidie · 05/08/2013 21:47

Hello all you Joules and Boden clad middle class harpies Smile!

Marsha I'm right with you on the JT in his younger days, something weird going on with his eyes the last couple of years.

I have to watch Drive, still haven't seen Ryan G in action, suspect I would very much like it.

[Dry] and [Linus], I have a very lovely, extremely understated mum friend who is properly posh and very well connected. She has a really cool job, but even she had a group of us Shock recently when she dropped into the conversation that as she was packing her shopping away the other day, toddler playing amongst it, the phone rang and it was Tom Ford wanting a chat about her latest project. She is probably going to meet him for lunch next time he is in town, we all told her we are going to stalk her Grin. Isn't it weird, a bunch of women getting so excited about a gay man Confused Grin. It would be so funny, all of us being at a nearby table when he was there with her though - I doubt she'll be sharing the details of any arrangement somehow Grin

MarshaBrady · 05/08/2013 21:48

I'm simply aghast at the Joules / Boden comment I know we are not understood Grin.

Joke.

Bradley Cooper admirers have you seen Limitless?

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 21:49

hello !

Ryan's looking good QueenC

I'm coming over all peculiar again. Dropped DS at rugby camp today at a boarding school in the middle of nowhere.....had to leave sharp ish there was so much testosterone flying around you could bloody taste it, hunky coaches, muscles all over the place....no wonder I hit 95 on the motorway.Grin

MarshaBrady · 05/08/2013 21:50

That is exciting Sleep Tom Ford is lovely looking. And good looking enough to match is label/designs.

MarshaBrady · 05/08/2013 21:52

Oh god I don't fancy any celebs except for John Hamm now!

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 21:52

Yes - great movie. Have just added Side Effects to my rental list (not Bradley ) and am wondering if it'll have a similar story line?

MarshaBrady · 05/08/2013 21:53

I haven't seen that Shop, not sure.

Lol Dry at having to get out of there Grin

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 21:54

Did anyone see Dispatches - Celebs, Brands and Fake Tans? V interesting about the industry for getting Twitter and FB endorsements. A whole group of companies in India creating fake accounts and upping pages likes. V interesting.

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 21:59

Channing T and Jude L looks worth a watch......
More about the power of pharma companies I think.....

QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 22:02

Sorry to have missed that shop as it sounds interesting. May try and catch up with it. I have to say, celebrity endorsement has gone way too far. They now just seem to get paid for mentioning wearing a certain lipstick/whatever in an interview when you know they probably don't Confused

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 22:04

I knew it was going on QueenC but some of the agencies selling this as a service are blatantly breaking advertising law..... Worth a watch if you can find it on 4OD

LinusDKD · 05/08/2013 22:05

sleep I am free for stalker duty when it concerns Tom Ford. (He has the same amount of stubble and chest hair as DH and maybe a bit more hair on top).

He genuinly seems like a nice guy even though he must be a perfectionist to be such a high profile and versatile designer.

dry I pointed out a (young) guy with the perfect chest and arms to DH on the beach today and it took me back more than 20 years when I used to meet my cousin's (who lived at the seaside) surfer friends.

I was so awkward and gauche compared to these bronzed and toned demi-gods and looking at this guy made think about my teenage self again.

BelindaWornOut · 05/08/2013 22:07

Hello ladies!

Well, yes, it was a bit surreal to see the conversation about my shape! Some of the comments actually made me laugh out loud ("strong shoulders"), and some of them are true eg my weight tends to go straight to my stomach, esp post DCs.

I wouldn't normally comment, but I wanted to explain: I was cringing that maybe it seems like I am blogging in a falsely self deprecating fashion.

My torso is disproportionately big (and short) compared to my thin legs and its also where my weight goes to. This is why I say I am an apple. At present I am fairly slim and have a small frame, but I need to be very careful what I wear on my upper half. Very careful. So, the H&M top is indeed very flattering and has given me more of an hourglass shape than I normally have. And, of course, I only choose the nicest of the photos I take!

Anyway, have lovely evenings, and I hope I haven't "intruded".

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 22:09

sleep perhaps that could be date /venu of next MNV MU ? With Tom! Tbh don't care if he's gay or not.....it's not as if we're ever going to go out with any of them (apart from John, would ditch DH for John Grin )

"Middle class harpies" hoe very dare she!

Oh and Amber as a result of that thread I. Too, fancy a Le Pillage in dark grey.

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 22:09

Talking Tom Ford and then movies, did any of you see A Single Man? Just beautifully shot, amazing cast, fab wardrobe, set design - adored it.

QueenCadbury · 05/08/2013 22:11

belinda I feel very guilty now that we've been discussing you and you've had to justify yourself. If you are an apple you disguise it very well. It was me that said the weight goes straight there. I feel your pain. A couple of pounds either on or off can make all the difference to how things fit when it all goes in one place.

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 22:11

Ooooh Belinda I knew you'd come!!! Feel like a celeb has arrived.......this is a fun evening......uppity hand bag thread, hunky fashion gods and now Belinda.....GREAT Grin

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 22:12

Belinda don't go!!!! I want to make sure you know I was being nothing but complimentary? I've been trying to figure out what my body shape is recently, and when you said you were an Apple I thought I'd got things wrong! Sorry if you felt you were being judged? I was more trying to understand how you could be an Apple and look so hourglass in your pics?

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2013 22:13

shop Tom Ford, Julianne Moore ( I want to be her) and don't start me on Colin.....that film was HEAVEN!

shopafrolic · 05/08/2013 22:14

Oh and I looked in the mirror tonight, thought I was carrying more weight round my tum than usual and weighed myself to find I've out on 6lbs!!!! Too many ice creams with DS......

MarshaBrady · 05/08/2013 22:16

I would ditch Dh for John Hamm. So If you're reading this John..

Julianne Moore is divine. And I love Olivia Wilde too.

Annianni · 05/08/2013 22:16

Blimey... what have you all been up to?!

I'm never going to catch up.

Hello Belinda, you always look lovely in your photos Envy

I can't believe that bloody bag thread's still going.
It's benchgate all over again!
