I only ask because my spend has been quite small due to the late summer.

I have bought 1 dress, 1 pair summer chinos (Boden) 1 nice T shirt /top (Jigsaw) and I cardi (Jigsaw) total about £170.

I thought I hadn't spend much, but adding it up, it's a fair amount. Although like someone else further up the thread, very little of it is only fit for summer. In fact only about £18 on two pairs of denim shorts from uniqlo. I like to get my money's worth from clothes, so the rest I will wear for summer, autumn and spring, and the t-shirts and shirts in winter layered up too.

7FAM chinos in navy, grey and pink £150
2x James Perse t-shirts from TKMaxx, £40
2x Gap White t-shirts £12
Supergra pumps £17 TKMaxx
YSL Arty ring £72 NAP sale
Coach ballet flats £30 TKMaxx
2 x James Perse t-shirts £120 TKMaxx

So £400 on year-round clothes and £20 on summer ones. I lived in grey skinnies last year, and only wore my old falling apart shorts once in the UK, as the weather was so rubbish, so am completely happy with my spend.

And I'll gloss over the beautiful Chanel 2.55 that I saved up 5 years to buy!

Sorry, the last line of the list should have read James Perse SHIRTS not t-shirts

Not much.

£20 on some metallic thong sandals from American Apparel, that I have worn pretty much every day as so comfy and versatile.

£100 on 2 x knee length summer jersey dresses for work

£100-ish on four maxi dresses from very.co.uk which I have hammered!

I try to buy the minimum amount of practical stuff for summer, as it is so short in the UK and we arent going on hols this summer. Autumn / winter is when my credit card takes a battering....

specifically for summer I've bought 2 pairs of sandals, 2 bikinis, 2 tees and a pair of havainas.

have spent more on cross-seasonal bits - a parka, twist jersey skirt, 2 x light-weight jumpers (one cashmere, one cotton), 2x pointed flat shoes.

i too prefer to spend a bit more ££ on fewer items.
