I wear shorts, as I don't like Vpl and other styles of pant tend to either wander to the left or right or retreat up my bum.

I quite fancy small pretty pants though. What should I buy at a reasonable cost that will actually want to stay on my bum?

Or do I stick to big pants?

I like the Fantasie Savannah style.

GobblersKnob · 13/07/2013 20:54

These I know they look like a hungry arse would gobble them up in seconds, but truly they are stupidy comfortable.

Arcadia · 13/07/2013 20:56

I have the same problem. I have found that sainsburys do some surprisingly good ones and often as a deal as well e.g.three pairs for ten pounds et(but you can choose different ones, not in a pack). I looked at the website but don't think they put many products on there.

Arcadia · 13/07/2013 20:58

I might try those gobblers though as you say they really do look like they would be straight up there!

Forgetfulmog · 13/07/2013 21:05

Gobblers Grin

I'm watching with interest as I desperately need so comfy, pretty knicks - am still wearing my granny-style post csection pants 10 months after birth

GobblersKnob · 13/07/2013 21:11

I know, I know, I was sceptical, but the colour (dark blue) was so pretty, I bought 1 pair along with two more tried and and trusted midis for a tenner and then deeply regretted not getting 3 pairs of the brazillians, I keep meaning to get some more. They also wash and tumble really well, despite looking like they won't.

Charlie01234 · 13/07/2013 21:16

The marks ones are the best ever - never wear owt else now.

JennySense · 13/07/2013 21:21

Sloggi ? But they ain't pretty...

SoTiredAgain · 13/07/2013 21:39

I'm a big fan of m and s brazillians too. They are comfortable, pretty and flattering.

Wildwaterfalls · 13/07/2013 21:43

Ooh can anyone confirm whether those marks ones also stay in place over a round post section tummy? Mine keep kind of rolling down to underneath iyswim

DingbatsFur · 13/07/2013 21:57

Oh my, read that first review about the m&s knickers.

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 21:58

I want pretty!!

So Brazilian are worth a look then. Is Brszilian a reference to the frilly bits or the cut?

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 21:59

And thank for your contributions and sympathy to my arse situation Grin

RandomMess · 13/07/2013 22:01

Those M&S ones don't work for me Sad

BOF · 13/07/2013 22:04

What shape is your arse? Flat? Round? Low-slung, or two tennis balls in a bag?

I've no idea if it makes a difference, I just like imagining your bum Grin

Chubfuddler · 13/07/2013 22:04

The m & s shorts type that are going for £1.50 a pair are pretty and comfy - not lacy pretty but pretty colours/prints and my fat arse doesn't gobble them. They aren't massive and no VPL.

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:06

Erm .... Like two wobbly piglets wrapped in a blanket you filthy knicker perv, Bof?
Grin

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:07

It's less the hungry bum, it's the sideways listing they do when wearing jeans Confused I mean you'd think a gusset would stop them drifting?

OP posts:
BOF · 13/07/2013 22:14

I like imagining you in these...

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:19

Do they mean manga as in Japanese cartooning? Because that's just weird.

Unless they are minge manga?

OP posts:
BOF · 13/07/2013 22:22

Ooh, I didn't notice that. Yes, manga, not minga.

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:29

I feel the frills with probably increase my arse size from substantial to alarming.

I want small pants that do what big pants do.

I've been buying dd2 "full briefs", as she was developing an alarming habit of hocking her pants up so high that they resembled a Borat mankini. She obviously likes feeling her tummy covered. Hers are tiny- a size eight or ten.

I have got to a point where I am eyeing them enviously. Truly, I am 40 this year.

southeastastra · 13/07/2013 22:44

i gave up with m and s pants and tried calvin klein, but their sizing is all to cock. in the end i just use john lewis bog standard bikini pants, they stay where they should
