I wear shorts, as I don't like Vpl and other styles of pant tend to either wander to the left or right or retreat up my bum.

I quite fancy small pretty pants though. What should I buy at a reasonable cost that will actually want to stay on my bum?

Or do I stick to big pants?

Thing is. If I get so etching that it is adaquately fitted to my arse than the waist is guaranteed to be in a position to make me a muffin top.

Gosh BoF. Shall we have a thread party for you?

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:47

Something!

I don't etch my arse.

BOF · 13/07/2013 22:49

It's in August- yes, let's have a drink then, and a spot of arse etching.

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 22:51

But no minga?

OP posts:
BOF · 13/07/2013 23:03

No, no minga!

I know i am getting old, because I have spent my Saturday night googling "knickers that don't give you a wedgie". The main theme from what I have scanned is to SIZE UP. Even if it makes you cry.

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 23:07

But if you size up than they drift to the left.

What the fuck is wrong with my arse?

How come on the bra threads there is a bra for all but pants are impossible?

Meh.

I am sensing a gap in the market. Dragons' Den ahoy Grin

DramaAlpaca · 13/07/2013 23:19

OK, after reading this thread I have just invested in three pairs of the brazilian knickers recommended by Gobblers. They were on offer at 3 pairs for ?13.50 on the Irish M&S website.

I had to settle for black & white as the lovely turquoise & navy options were sold out in my large size, but I'm interested to see how they perform on said large rear end!

HoneyDragon · 13/07/2013 23:43

Drama

I expect feedback.

Actually what I need is a thread where everyone posts a picture of their arse and a link to what knickers they wear successfully.

And a way to ask without sounding a raving perv.

LadyBigtoes · 13/07/2013 23:49

Gap ones are great IME. They always seems to stay in the right place and be very well made and last years.

DramaAlpaca · 13/07/2013 23:54

Honey I will report back when I get my knickers in the post.

But you are not getting a picture! Grin

ajandjjmum · 13/07/2013 23:57

Maryz
You are not alone! Sad

HoneyDragon · 14/07/2013 00:37

Gap do pants?

OP posts:
Chubfuddler · 14/07/2013 07:39

Good luck with phrasing that request honey.

LadyBigtoes · 14/07/2013 09:17

:o

HoneyDragon · 14/07/2013 09:38

Yes. I'm still working on it.

If I nc I reckon I'll be deleted in 0.006 seconds

If I ask as me I DREAD to think what pictures you lot would actually post.

I just want a decent pair of knicks Sad

I've had success with the Panache Ariza briefs (they do have a see through back though)
Also some from asda that I can't link to yet but they have pinstripes on the front
I sized up in both of them

BookFairy · 14/07/2013 10:20

The M+S No VPL are comfy, stay in place, and are quite pretty :)

SoTiredAgain · 14/07/2013 10:30

Ugh at wearing microfibre or non-cotton knickers in this heat.

HoneyDragon · 14/07/2013 10:30

I used to like (years ago) M&S high leg bikini briefs. They gave surprisingly good coverage. But they stopped doing them.

Jockey and Haynes shorts are good, but I'd like pretty knickers.

OP posts:
ChippyMinton · 14/07/2013 10:35

these M&S brazilian no VPL

BookFairy · 14/07/2013 10:39

The No VPL are around 80% cotton :)

Given the heat, I'm sweating in nothing :(

RandomMess · 14/07/2013 10:40

I actually wear H&M girls pants in age 14+ problem is they are so comfy nothing else compares...

Fortunately manage to get htem in white, black and grey in the UK

www.hm.com/us/product/12885?article=12885-A

can't bear synthetic, anything tight around my knicker line gives me spots, I'm really short so high waisted just roll down etc etc etc

SoTiredAgain · 14/07/2013 10:46

bookfairy I was thinking more about Maryz link for the m and s no VPL knickers.

OP, the best way to solve this problem is obviously that you go sans knickers Grin
