RESULT

(Plus an Angel First Bra as she keeps declaring she 'needs more support' for PE )

Ooooh, fab dress indeed.

Don't get the Angel sports bra for DD1, MI as it needs two of you to wrestle child and her breasts into the damn thing. We got a pack of two regular sports bras from Emma Ness which do up like normal bras, and they do 30 inch backs too.

motherinferior · 11/06/2013 20:58

Ooops

Cremolafoam · 11/06/2013 21:21

Oooh thank you Cremo but that's pure cotton which I think again she'll allege is 'insufficiently supportive' (snigger)

I have ordered the Debenhams ones and will see how they work out!

hattymattie · 12/06/2013 09:30

Can we have a FB photo of MI actually modelling her dress?

By the way I'm coming to London with DD1 for uni open days - I'm hoping to squeeze in a bit of shopping. Is there anywhere reasonably obvious and central that I can pick up a couple of nice and not too expensive dresses. Nothing in France fits me - the all seem to still have waists at age 50.

YAY RUBY!!!!

Hatty - I recommend Johnny Loulou's. Want a friend or two to come and give you advice?

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 11:32

Ruby!FlowersWine

Fantastic!

Now you need to plan the housewarmingWink

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 11:33

Yes Hattie, I'm good on dress-advice-givingGrin

Blackduck · 12/06/2013 11:41

Cangrats Ruby! You clearly live in a better area than I did (tries not to think about the 9 months it took...)

hattymattie · 12/06/2013 11:52

Wow - congrat's Ruby. That seems really quick. Break open the champers this evening. Smile.

Thank you to all the shopping volunteers. I'm not sure how everything is going to fit in with DD's plans and I'm also hoping to hook up with an old friend whom I haven't managed to see for about six years.

I would love to meet some crepeys though and am fingers crossed that DD will come to a London uni in which case I will have ample excuse for shopping trips and meet-ups. Smile

MI - I'm off to Google your shop.

wilbur · 12/06/2013 13:21

That's great news, ruby, well done. Realised I didn't get a chance to see the pics of your new place at the weekend! Darn it!

hattymattie · 12/06/2013 13:48

MI - can't find your shop Confused

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 14:05

It's gorgeous, wilburEnvy
Still can't believe we have a mutual friend (who hasn't even got children!) - what a small world it is!

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 14:06

Hatty, I think she means John Lewis. A sanctuary amongst shops!

hattymattie · 12/06/2013 14:10

Aah - you see I've definitely been in France too long Smile. I do understand when people say Marks and Sparks though.

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 14:11

Or Marksies!

motherinferior · 12/06/2013 14:30

Ah yes, JL Blush. Is where I got my frock but there are many others of varying styles and prices!

hattymattie · 12/06/2013 14:37

MI - thought it was some trendy designer outlet Grin - at least I know where to find JL.

motherinferior · 12/06/2013 14:55
Grin

I am Angry dealing with stuff to do with sorting out the girls on a Thursday - which is supposed to be my night OFF from sorting them, ffs, I go singing - and DP is sounding irritable about it. Can I kill him?

bigTillyMint · 12/06/2013 15:12

Yes, go ahead. I may join you in a killing spree - DH coming over all over-bearing about DD and her BlackberryAngrySad

motherinferior · 12/06/2013 15:14

It's about sorting out DD2's Rock Band coming to perform at your kids' school, in fact...!
